Had a fantastic meal at Shahi Grill! I went for the chicken tikka which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, while my wife had the mango and coconut chicken which she absolutely loved. The highlight was one of the desserts ? it came served in a little toy, which completely delighted my wife, and the toy has now earned a special place in our cup cupboard at home.
Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that really stands out ? highly recommended!

The food is good but the sauce is too watery
I like food with thick sauce. Generally, the sauce needs to be thick I ordered twice Unfortunately, I won't come back

Struggled to find a good Indian takeaway since moving to Edinburgh, lots we?ve tried have been watery and bland but this one is up to our standard and a bonus of being close by so food is still hot when it arrives. Chicken in curries is good quality and sauces arerich and tasty with large portions.

First time getting Indian from Shahi Grill & have to say it was amazing. Food was excellent, great portions & it was the best Korma I've had! Definitely recommend

Genuinely one of the best if not *the* best Indian in Edinburgh. Food was beyond delicious. We had the paneer makhani and lamb pasanda and both were the tastiest dishes we've had in a long time. We were a bit worried about it being delivered so far in to the city but it arrived hot and everything was perfect. The delivery person was also nice. The potatoes of the Bombay Aloo were cooked perfectly and the bhajis were crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. Perfect! Very happy!

First takeaway , have visited restaurant previously. \nWhen a takeaway gets off to a bad start it doesn?t bode well. Mixed pakora! Vegetable was ok but the chicken was dry overcooked tough and probably reheated. Struggled to cut it therefore straight in the bin . \nMains- Chicken tikka was nice , Tandoori mix was good except for lamb. Expected a curry sauce but it?s served with a yogurt dip. Rice and Naan were the pick of the meal. \nDon?t expect a good review when you serve pakora like that.
