Most staff are friendly and you can get good discounts, you go in for one or 2 items and leave with about 50 lol.

Who doesn't love stuff for £1, not many places you can take the kids and tell them they can have whatever they want.
Try that in a restaurant without hearing I think ill have the fillet steak.

Overall a vey pleasant experience unfortunately however during a recent visit I encountered a strange staff member who then made fun of my poor dog my dog is now going through therapy due to her feeling insecure would not recommend this place as it does not fit the Gen Z lifestyle

Had an appoling experience in the johnstone store 28/10/23 where myself and a friend went in to look for halloween ears. we picked up one headband and decided it wasn?t suitable so decided to leave the store. As we were leaving we were shouted at by a member of staff on the tills to not to bother coming in if we were just going to make a mess and not purchase anything. the member of staff could not see us when we were looking at the halloween stuff so would not have seen we only picked one hair and up and put it back in it?s correct place. we felt embarrassed as there was other people in the shop waiting to be served. terrible customer service

Poundland is great for your regular daily household stuff and sweets, they have a good array of kitchen cooking utensils etc and bathroom items, don't rate their clothes much but have got some not bad things for the kids, but due to inflation you can't get anything for £1 anymore lol!! But I guess £2 land and upwards doesn't have the same ring to it lol!!
