The lovely old but modern hotel tucked nicely into a housing scheme. Close to johnstones Town centre. Bar prices were reasonable for being a hotel. I attended a wedding which was fantastic. the meal was fulfilling fresh and tasty. The staff service was excellent and very efficient. Can't comment on the rooms as we did not stay overnight.Walkability: 10 mim walk to johnstone centreNoteworthy details: Well, sign posted and easy to get to hotel by bus or car . Bowling club 50 or so yards just down the road from hotel

We stayed in the Lynnhurst Hotel for 4 nights and had a great experience from the start to finish of our stay. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The room was a very good size, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We dined in the hotel each night and the food was excellent. Ideal for a nice quiet and relaxing weekend away. We would highly recommend this hotel.Rooms: We stayed inxan executive room and it was well worth the moneyFood & drinks: Breakfast was freshly cooked and extensive dinner menu

We stayed at the Lyndhurst for a night as a break during a gruelling house move. It was quiet and restful which was our need. I'm not sure how to rate location? This hotel is in a quiet residential area so it rather depends what you want. I'm guessing their main revenue comes from events and functions. We got a good deal on the inclusive B&B rate. I would happily stay again but it might be insightful if a member of the management spent a night in each room?Rooms: The bedroom and en suite were spacious and the bedroom bright and airy and had everything we needed. Rather oddly the power points were almost all inconveniently positioned e.g. under the desk. USB charging sockets next to the bed are an obvious improvement. For me the decor was a bit drab and mildly depressing but that's a matter of taste. Whilst fully functional the rooms were a bit Spartan and soulless and would benefit from a few homely touches. A luggage stand would be a useful addition to the bedroom and if I recall there were no pictures in either room?Nearby activities: There are a few local golf courses and that's about it.Food & drinks: The dinner menu was simple but the food was well prepared The breakfast menu was good and the cooked breakfast was very good, The bar/restaurant team were all friendly and helpful.

The Lynnhurst was just amazing. Fabulous period property lovingly adapted into a very warm. comfortable. and very friendly hotel.Our room was Fabulous and very comfortable. Bar and food were excellent.Would love to stay here again.The booking. com price was incredible for the high standard of this hotel.Thanks to everyone for an awesome visit
