Hotel is very nice. Rooms are modern and well presented and very comfortable. With our deal we had afternoon tea which was very good, a discount on the evening meal and a bottle of wine. The restaurant was really good. The food was freshly made and to a good standard. All staff were friendly and very service orientated. Recommended for quiet getaway

Great hotel for the price. Spa & gym is really well done. Rooms are nice, staff are friendly and breakfast is great especially for it being complimentary.

Nice place, good location but way way too busy with too many folks and defeats the purpose of a relaxing location. Cafe at lunchtime Friday weekday was a noise nightmare! Can't speak for the racket of chatter, music and kids play area next door. Lunch menu looks interesting, may well be very tasty but overpriced to try out in the surroundings and noise. Staff helpful, typical price for coffee and cake but noisy environment off putting for going back regularly for coffee. Easier to drive elsewhereCar parking nightmare as well. Seriously overcrowded car parking and not enough disabled spaces. Stressful trying to park and get to a timed event. Thinking you have sold way too many memberships. Seriously thinking this might not be worth it given the hassle to get in and out at and this is off peak!

This hotel is beautiful! It?s set out in beautiful countryside and is so quiet and peaceful. It?s a lovely building and very rustic looking. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were to friendly and helpful. We had dinner and, on another occasion, had an afternoon tea at the Plumpy Duck onsite restaurant. The meal and afternoon tea were great! All reasonably priced too! The spa facilities were brilliant! Lots of rooms to relax in and the massages we had were great. The outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi was brilliant too.All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. Whether for spa, overnight stay, dinner or afternoon tea. I can?t wait to go back ?????Food & drinks: Excellent gluten free options!

Club member. One good thing is that they offer classes such as yoga, pilates, etc. The VERY BAD thing is class sizes are limited, you can only sign up 3 days before on their calendaring application at 8am and then it is a race to see if you get in before the class is full. With as full as some of these classes get why on earth don't they offer more of the same at different times so more people can take the class? Not a good system.Other than that (which is a pretty major consideration) the facilities are clean, lockers are sometimes faulty/broken, staff are helpful and friendly.

I only attended the spa and facilities so can?t comment on the hotel!!!I visited the spa and it itself was lovely, staff was very kind and accommodating and the woman who did my massage and facial was great! As well as the ladies at the reception desk, very helpful and attentive. I?d come back just for that!The facilities however were not ideal, you get to use them for an hour and a half if you book a full day spa. I didn?t really realize of course that this would include hotel guests and country club members. Waiting for the pool to be available after water sports was a tad annoying, not sure I?d have booked a full day if I knew this would happen. Changing rooms were okay, besides the mould in the showers, all over the ceiling. Showers were really not clean and I feel obvious mould is a bit of a big oversight for a hotel. Never seen such in an hotel I?ve ever been in.I also noticed three times a male employee walking through the women?s changing rooms without any warning. Considering I saw multiple women nude in there throughout the day it seems completely inappropriate for a male employee to be walking through unannounced. I assumed if I was in the women?s changing room I?d be only around women or those who identify as such.All in all spa was lovely, facilities not worth the bother unless you want to share with everyone else and changing rooms need major work in shower area.

This is a fantastic hotel and the main reason for this is the absolutely amazing staff. The facilities, restaurant and the rooms are all amazing. We have returned again and again as this hotel is the best.
