Tiny But Mighty ? A Lovely Stop at John O'Groats Brewery
A great little find! The staff at John O'Groats Brewery were friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and tidy throughout. There?s a tiny bar cleverly squeezed into the corner ? it may be small, but it adds real charm to the experience.
The shelves are lined with a nice selection of beers, all fairly priced. We couldn?t enjoy a pint on the spot (ha ha ? driving duties!), but we grabbed a few bottles to take home and savour later.
If you're in the area and fancy a local brew, it?s definitely worth popping in.

Got there a little early to try the beers. The chap in the shop was very helpful and informative. The pub looked good. Bought some bottles to take home but they are expensive so only got 4 stars.

I had a great experience at this brewery! The atmosphere was welcoming, and there was an impressive variety of beers to choose from. Each one had its own unique flavor, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a place I'd recommend to any beer lover!

What a wonderful surprise this visit was. Such a tasteful pub and set up here. Very helpful staff serving tasty real ale and whisky of course. Highly recommend this little pub.

We loved this (very tiny!) spot. It wasn't at all what we expected - a very cosy traditional taproom with some excellent beers.
It was also attached to a small brewery which was very modern with some lovely views of the sea.
One of our favourite stops on the NC500!
