Better than it was 40 yrs ago, and then it was fab, cleanest pub toilets I've ever been in, great music great beer, no food but you can bring your take away, happy days, it's good to be back

Great pub with cracking atmosphere. Sport on the telly and dog friendly
The Canon is a Jedburgh landmark and traditional Border pub that has been rooted in the local community from the 18th century on. To this day, The Canon continues to offer a warm and friendly atmosphere where real ale is served and a wide variety of sports can be watched via BT Sport. On Mondays, patrons enjoy traditional Scottish music played by local folk musicians, in the winter months there is a crackling fireplace for customers to warm themselves. You can find us on Exchange Street, just a little west of the Market Square. We're also dog friendly.
