I promise you you will not be disappointed. The food is excellent quality , hugely authentic. Amazing flavours and perfectly prepared .

Well, I mean where to begin... rude waiter, who clearly has no idea how to take an order (no cheque pad/tablet etc, just memory for a table of 9) so drinks orders were wrong, repeatedly. service was so slow that another table left, we waited an hour and a half for our meals, fairly average food, definitely not worth the poor service or wait.
Restaurant wasn't particularly full, and the wait/bar staff were unable to cope. Other tables still waiting for food when we left. Heard them tell other customers they had run out of dips for poppadoms (very quiet night) but come on mate, you've a supermarket literally across the road... have some standards and consistency. In the end its probably a good job a few members of our party had to cancel at short notice as I fear we would still be waiting on our food now, as you read this...... avoid this and go buy a microwave curry from the coop, no attitude on it, takes only a few minutes and you don't need to sit in, frankly, the dirtiest restaurant I've been in.
Also literally says on the menu mixed grill comes with salad, naan, and sauce of MY choice, there was no naan, no salad and no sauce. To be honest children generally do a better job of waiting than the bloke trying....
To be honest had I looked properly on Google the photoshopped images of the shop front would have been a giveaway.
Also, rice is dirt cheap, and abundant, £3.50 for a tiny bowl is bad......

Terrible! Waited over an hour and a half on food, waiter was rude and took our orders slowly and without a pad to help himself. Drinks orders took ages too, food was average, definitely not worth the wait. The table was booked months in advance and the restaraunt just wasn't prepared at all, almost like they had no idea. Other customers Waited a long time for food, the table next to us ended up walking out, fed up of waiting. And I don't blame them. Definitely never going back, what a rubbish experience.

Not sure where to start really, can't rate the food as after one hour we didn't receive any ..oh other than poppadoms ( with no dips) as they had none.
20 customers all waiting and not one plate of food on any table...
If I wasn't as annoyed as I was it was actually amusing that they were so bad.
A group of 8 who were there for a 50th birthday party which they booked 4 months prior were waiting 1 and a half hours!! Yep that's right..
Anyway we walked out as I was ready to faint due to lack of food...
My advice...
Don't go.

Can?t review the food as waited over an hour and nobody in the restaurant had received any food. Some customers waiting over an hour and half. We did get popadoms however they had no dips, apparently they?d run out. Ended up leaving as it was abysmal.

We were passing through the city. The sign says takeaway, but we waited for more than half an hour for half a Chicken Tandoori. They gave it to us without napkins or disposable utensils, in a torn paper bag wrapped in another bag. The chicken was slightly burnt and dry, the sauce was thin and not very tasty. The price was average, but the chicken comes without bread, naan, or chips, which is surprising for a takeaway. The only positive aspect was the vegetables. Overall, I cannot recommend it. Unfortunately, we thought too late about walking around Jedburgh in search of a real takeaway where they would have given us our order in just a few minutes.????????????????

It's been a while since we had a takeaway from here and all I can say is Brilliant food and good sized portions, very very authentic dish with plenty of chicken along with the best tikka masala sauce ever.
Totally recommend this restaurant and give it top marks

The food was amazing and served quickly however the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Restaurant was cold and the owner/server was distracted by the phone ringing for takeaway orders and then hovered over us waiting for us to finish our food. When we were given the bill the card machine would not work, he admitted it was a fault with the machine and asked us to get cash which I happily went and got in the rain! our bill was around 46 pound so I gave him 50 and said he could keep the change. He counted the money and did not even acknowledge the tip or even say thank you for payment. Unfortunately his dismissive attitude spoiled the overall experience for us.

If you want a handful of king prawns with sauce (additional charge), and you wanted prawns instead, then this is the place for you.
Service was offhand, food mediocre and atmosphere pretty meh.
Definitely would only recommend if everywhere else is shut, or if you don't like decent Indian/Asian food.
Altogether, a very disappointing experience.
