The Tavern is lovely and the restaurant also looks really nice but I was very disappointed not to be able to go inside as I had the dog with me. It's advertised as dog friendly but definitely not, fortunately it was a nice night and we sat outside to eat with the dog - the food was very good but the service was excellent. Just really poor when it's advertised and I had booked here on the strength of that.

I had a party of 10 people out for lunch and have to say the service and the meal was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this place, thank you to everyone.

We stopped here on a Saturday lunch time on our way to the Donkey sanctuary. The place is lovely inside and the staff are lovely. Very varied menu and very reasonably priced. We were slightly early but staff took our order and put it in bang on 12pm for us. It was well worth waiting for and everyone was very happy with what they got. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Great place for food. The menus very extensive with loads that looked appealing. The food was all really nice and good solid portions. The cocktails were nice and they have a decent selection of beers. Service was a little ropy but I think there was a new member of staff still getting training so we can't hold it agaisnt them, they were all very friendly and polite. If we were staying a few extra nights I'd have tried a few more dishes

It's very misleading that dogs are welcome but can't go in the tavern so basically if it's raining your screwed .think I'll be leaving asap

My family ate here 3 nights during a 4 night stay at the caravan park. The food every night was absolutely delicious ??. I had the 6oz flank steak, corn fed chicken breast and full rack of ribs. Would recommend all three dishes. My meals ranged from £14-£19 and would say they were good value for money. Staff were great too.

We are at the lodge just now. Would have scored a 5 but dogs are not allowed in the bar/restaurant, so you can't eat or drink there when weather is wet and windy. We have managed 1 meal but not very comfortable at all, because of the weather.
The staff are really lovely and service was excellent.
Food was very good.
If the lodges are dog friendly can't understand why they can't go inside restaurant and bar.

It is what it is. Good food but within a caravan/lodge park. Not bad for something to eat but far from fine dining but I don't think the owner was a targeting that to be fair.

Absolutely great service from very pleasant and friendly staff. Food was delicious. The 3 little pigs burger was divine. The steak and ale pie was so filling but we couldn?t put the fork down. We managed to squeeze a coffee and a chocolate brownie sundae in which met the same standard as the main courses. Will definitely visit again when next in the area. Great value for money. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and very clean.
