We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here whilst staying nearby at Cuil Lodge, just 15 minutes walk away.
Service was great, local beers available on tap and a good range of local gins too! I can heartily recommend the Venison, skip straight past the entrees and enjoy with a pint or two of the local red ale brewed on the other side of the bay.

Restaurant review/ We had an 8:30pm reservation and came on time, but were rushed to order as soon as we sat down, being told the kitchen was closing. There was no greeting from our server?just a curt ?I need your entire order now.? It made the experience feel unwelcoming and hurried. While the food itself was decent, the service left much to be desired. On a positive note, a gentleman who helped us on our way out was kind and professional, which we appreciated.

We only had dinner here. As far as the restaurant goes if you're staying in Uig then go here. If you're not well then drive here as it'll be worth it. ?
Food was great, service was very attentive, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.

This was a nice inn located in Isle of Sky. Check In was a breeze. Our room was clean, bathroom, bed, and sheets were all clean.
Beds were comfortable.
Restaurant was BUSY. I can only imagine the food must be good at dinner for how busy it was. We had breakfast, and it was good.
One note, there is no air conditioning. We were here in early June, and the weather was 50s F at night. We opened the windows and the room cooled.
There was enough parking for us, and they even had 2 spots for electric car charging.

What a wonderful comfortable hotel. Really friendly staff. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Sad to see that the maternity hospital is now called the Cowshed

I absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, both really well made (and tasty of course!) and beautifully presented! The staff was very kind and friendly and went above and beyond to make your visit comfortable and to introduce you to the area. For example, I asked a simple question about Whiskey and got such an interesting improvised - yet very well-informed - introduction where I actually got a better understanding of the varieties of Scottish whiskey than I got when visiting a distillery. The hotel had the most comfortable bed during my whole 1,5 week Scotland trip. Cozy and clean rooms. I hope I get to visit again in the future!
If you are in the area make sure to visit the Staffin dinosaur museum, an absolutely unique and awesome place where you get up close to millions of years old fossils and bones.

We ate dinner here and it was amazing. Everything we tried was great, bread, scallops, mussels, fish and chips. I can?t stop thinking about the berry Pavlova. It was one of the best things I?ve ever eaten.
