True fine dining. Exceptional service from extremely nice staff. The haggis was exceptional as was the beef wrapped in pastry. If you're looking for this kind of experience on Skye then highly recommended.

Lovely mostly seafood based tasting menu. We went on the chefs table which was inside the kitchen.

This review is for the ?Kitchen Side? experience. Also please be aware that the menu is always changing with the seasons. We spent a fantastic evening in the company of 3 other couples testing dishes being presented by each cook and accompanied by wine for each dish. It was a priceless moment eating great food in good company.

Absolutely incredible. We were at the chef's table and were able to see how everything was prepared which was really fun to watch. The service was excellent too with explanations from each chef along the way on the preparation of each dish (and why each was special). We had our meal back in June 2023 but I still crave it and want to go back for sure. It started out with smoked trout, crab (from the area that was fished out that morning!), and oyster. These were each in separate preparations that were prepared with subtlety but still flavorful. Next was the bread course (of course prepared on site)...really great rye but would have liked a stronger sourdough. Picked mussels were up next followed by the best langoustine I have ever had...incredibly fresh (another thing caught that morning in the local loch). Scallops followed by "rose beef" which was a pate(?). The highland lamb was also the best lamb that I have ever had and then the two desserts were really unique. One was called Pine Needles and it did evoke that but was delicious. The other was a rice pudding souffle which was not as successful. The wine pairing was very thoughtful and they were not stingy on the pour. :) It was a really magical vacation but this meal was definitely a highlight. The restaurant is located in a hotel so there is parking but be prepared for a long dark drive afterwards. It is very remote and there are sheep everywhere. Just getting there, I would add extra time because you will probably be late. They take all cards.

Highly recommend the Kitchen Table experience. An absolute culinary delight. One of the best highlights of our Isle of Skye trip. We shared the chef?s table with two other diners. Top notch service from start to finish. Amazing and hilarious chefs. Every course was spectacular and perfectly presented.

We enjoyed a 4 course dinner at The Three Chimneys and every single dish was perfect. The view, the service and the landscape during the drive were the cherry on the top.

We were very excited to have gotten a reservation here. The food and drinks were spectacular. Only a couple of things that seemed a little off the mark. One over seasoned and one lacking flavor. But as a whole we enjoyed the experience and would gladly return. The smoked butter for the sourdough I can still taste. Amazing.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel and ate dinner at the restaurant for two nights. The service was absolutely exceptional. They truly catered to our family and we felt so welcomed and comfortable staying here. The food was beyond amazing as well as the wine to pair it with. The marmalade gin martini was a show stopper! They source excellent ingredients to cook with and it shows. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay or eat in the Isle of Skye. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant in the quieter reaches of Skye, service was great and the food didn't disappoint. Good wine selection with lots of knowledge.

The experience I had here was wonderful. To my embarrassment I am a bit of a plain eater and when I only ordered one thing off the menu the staff insisted they feed me properly and asked me what I would like. They made me an off menu dish that was fit for a king the best beef I have ever had, they truely made my day! Thank you to the wait staff and Chef?s :)

Three Chimneys lived up to its reputation for exquisite, imaginative food in a lovely setting with warm and well-trained staff. Separate complete vegan menu was deeply appreciated. Windows are not large. The view is mostly seen when you are outside. Drive respectfully on the road. Five of the 11 residents in one enclave have been struck by speeding cars according to a local artisan and victim.

This review is about the Kitchen Table. The food was generally good, but for £125 I should not have left hungry. The total bill with one flight pairing and two dinners was £320 and terribly over priced. The way that you pay the bill with the waitress standing above you at the door also makes it hard to decline to add a tip to the card, so expect to add another 10%.The wine flight was disappointing not only because the wines weren't worthy of their £70 price tag but at least 3 of them just weren't a good pairing. All of them were young, mostly from regions that aren't known for their wine and I think were just smaller samples of what is regularly on the menu.Service was lackluster and uninspired. They all seemed friendlier with each other between courses than when interacting with our table. Except for one man, perhaps the head waiter, owner or chef who wore a vest and a trimmed beard the staff were mostly unkempt. Only one wore a cap while all of the others needed a haircut and/or a shave. And they were slow. Painfully slow. The biggest issue, despite coming out to a flattened tire, was the lack of cleanliness. There was a build up of crud in the floor corner, grease stains everywhere on the stainless and scattered debris. I saw spilled grease wiped up promptly but not thoroughly, a chef scratching open sores on her arm and my wife saw her or another pulling her fingers through her hair while on the line. I saw a rag used to clean up a floor spill then put onto the food prep area.Overall, not the glamorous experience that was expected and definitely not worth the price paid.Parking: I think that someone may have stabbed my tire during dinner.

This is an adventure worth taking. As is obvious from previous posts, the food is impeccable and service even better. Our table had scallops, monk fish, langostine, pork?. I was slightly disappointed with the pork dish and one vegetarian person wasn?t completely content with her plate either. But every seafood dish was wonderful.

Nice but not quite the experience I was hoping for. When researching our trip to Isle of Skye we heard a great deal about this restaurant in its somewhat remote location so was greatly looking forward to finally being able to visit. We lucked ended up staying 10 min away from the restaurant and secured a reservation the first night. The tables were quite close to each other and having a private conversation became something of a challenge. The set menu offered several choices in each category but, in my view, only one dish - the crab starter - had anything like the wow factor is had been expecting. For the price I was expecting a wow factor but didn?t happen. I can now say that we have been but doubt that will come back just to try the food again.
