Had very bitter experience with the restaurant. Visited the restaurant in the peak hours. We were asked to come after 9 pm. We got a drop after the highland tour at the restaurant. Walking down and coming back seemed big task and hence stayed back waiting and requesting the restaurant to allow seating whenever possible. The restaurant become almost empty by 8;15 but the staff kept me waiting. We heard them discussing that they told us to come after 9 pm and hence should not be accommodated. We had to wait for over 40 mins in almost empty restaurant to be seated. Very unprofessional and arrogant. We were very late to the host who was waiting for us. Did not appreciate this as the host was a kind lady and old.
Though name is Indian, its not run by Indians or Pakistanis. Food is okay but seems on expensive considering minimum dine-in cost. Staff needs some lessons on manners. Very unprofessional.

We ended up dining here as this was the only restaurant open late in the area. Their food is okay but their service is terrible. All their servers have a weird attitude. There was an older server who actually was banging a spoon at a large party's table to get their attention and he was serious, it was not a joke. You're in Scotland where people are known for their kindness. The least you can do is learn a few values from them.

Overall very good experience if you have time when restaurant is full. Chicken massala, naan, with prepared rice were on top. Cooked Lamb on top. Prices are reasonable.

The place is a little bit out of Broadford which is a good thing as everything in Broadford had a 1 hour + wait. We walked right in.
The server was friendly from the off and recommended things right away .
The noise though was too much. I was tired so that didnt help . But it was just super loud .
Food portions were actually 'too large' and the chicken pakora i got was so so greasy. The rest was fine .
Prices were ok and service was great .

I was initially discouraged by the negative reviews but I am glad I gave it a try. We ordered takeaway and the service was pretty good, from ordering to receiving the meal. We were told at the time of order that it would take 20 mins or so, setting the right expectations. And they were thoughtful enough to give us cutlery and paper plates. Now the food was also good, it had flavour and spice level was on point. I would 100% order again.
