Fab tasting with Ally at Talisker distillery. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The whisky was superb and the videos are very dramatic but beautiful.
The shop and bar area are fabulous with a huge range of merchandise. Love this distillery

Beautiful distillery with a great tasting area. Very smoky whiskey, but don't let that scare you. Just add a few drops of water and enjoy a few selections. As with all of Skye, and pretty much all of Scotland, a gorgeous drive to this place.

A must experience if you are in these parts! Even just going into the shop and trying a drink! Tickets for tours or tastings are available on the site and must be booked well in advance

We booked the tour with whiskey tasting, £22 per person. You will be shown around in a group of max. 16 people and given explanations about whiskey production. At the end there is a tasting with 3 different whiskeys; there are small bottles for drivers to fill in the samples. So you can look and smell straight away and try it at home. Nice idea.

The "Cask Drawing Tour" that I booked in advance is a special experience for whiskey lovers but also for everyone who wants to become one. A great experience for which George also did his part.
