Well, what a meal! Great and unobtrusive service, impeccable food and delicious drinks in a cosy restaurant in stunning Stein whilst it blew a hoolie outside, absolutely loved it. Up there with the best meals I've ever had, and quite possibly the best. Not fussy and not formal,, all about the ingredients and enjoying yourself. We loved it!! ??

I had a wonderful dinner at Loch Bay. I emailed the restaurant for reservations and pre-paid for the meal using the link provided. The entire meal was seafood focused and featured things like oysters, scallops, langoustines, lobster, monkfish, and mussels. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. For dessert, we were able to choose between a warm almond tart with rhubarb and strawberry, blood orange sorbet, and lemon & ginger ice cream or a cheese plate. The warm almond tart was delicious! I would highly recommend making time to eat at Loch Bay Restaurant if you are visiting Isle of Skye.

One of the nicest restaurants I have visted anywhere in the world. The food was absolutely fabulous and the service immaculate; all in lovely restaurant on the side of a loch. Perfect.

What an amazing experience! The staff were so welcoming to everyone who came! There are only a few tables and you NEED to make reservations well in advance- if you can, several days to weeks. Staff were so wonderful about explaining the intricacy of each dish and answering and further questions we had. We did not have a dish we didn?t enjoy. You aren?t rushed at all and can savor the meal and wine over several hours. Thanking the chef was also a treat!

The journey up the west coast of Skye is breathtaking. When you arrive the welcome is warm and charming. The dining room is cosy, relaxed and has a great ambiance provided by the music and the unpretentious service. Finally, the food is amazing - it is a love song to the ultra-local ingredients, delivered in a way that doesn?t have to try too hard. The whole evening was perfectly paced and will live long in our memories.

An absolute gem of a place with just a couple of tables. Felt very warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of going through all the beautifully cooked seafood. Was a shame I wasn't near this time and had to drive so could not enjoy the wine flights!

My wife and I had dinner there. Great service, creative tasting menu (fresh seafood from the harbor across the street), and romantic decor. Stepped out into the night with clear view of all the stars in the sky. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Words can?t do it justice - one of the best meals I have ever had. Was also delighted to be eating such good food in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. No pretension, just lovingly made food and warm service.

We are here with our pals and had the most amazing time. The food is truly delicious and most is landed like 20 metres from the kitchen. The wine matching was really good too with my pal coming across two wines which he?d not heard of before.
We were lucky enough to be seated in a booth which really made it feel like a personal dining experience. Staff great and very knowledgeable.
Expectations were high as (probably) the place to dine on Skye but this place is truly special.
