Food & drinks: Very basic

Very small rooms. You can hear your neighbours through walls. Tired and in need of TLC. Views ok.

I felt at home in the hotel. Friendly staff advised and dispelled all doubts. What is most important for me, the hotel is pet-friendly. After returning from the trip, you can sit with your dog in the hotel lounge and have a nice time. Very nice area around the hotel. You can walk and enjoy the views. The meals I ate were very tasty and not expensive.

The food if you get given the set menu is very poor. Basically if it comes frozen in a bag that is what you will get.The rooms are basic but if you just need a roof over your head and don't expect anything else then it's fine. The proper menu looks very nice but I would be weary. After my experience of the hotels food for 7 days I would assume non of it is fresh and it is all frozen. The waiting staff were either not interested or rude.Overall this is a cheap hotel that charges above what it should be.Myself and my workmates will be advising our booking team not to use this hotel again.Rooms: Basic but cleanNearby activities: Walking and fishing or drinking heavily to forget how poor the hotel is for the amount of money you spent on itWalkability: Walk to another hotelFood & drinks: Is it frozen and does it come in a bag, if yes then that is what you will be servedNoteworthy details: Book another hotel.

Rooms extremely basic. You have to go down 2 flights of stairs to dinning room. No lift so problem if you have mobility issues. Food is quite good.Rooms: Very poor, basic. This is not a four star hotel. Although bed very comfortable. New shower room. It over looks the Loch not that we had a view from our room.

Fantastic staff so helpful and welcoming. Lovely view from restaurant. Halls little noisy in the morning as expected for the year of build for hotel. Staff very hospitable and made for overall 5* rating well

Overpriced and the staff could be friendlier! For what you get I feel the hotel rates are a little too high. There isn't enough parking for all guests to park. The staff were not very keen to help with queries and when asking about dishes on their menu, didn't show much interest in wanting to serve the customers.Overall, wouldn't stay here again given that there are many other options that aren't too far away.

Very expensive for what it is. Clean and comfortable, good shower. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Morning breakfast quite rude with grabbing excess cutlery of the table while we were still eating. Hot food looked quite dry and not refreshed regularly.

For the price we paid, the hotel is dilapidated to say the least, the rooms are old and shabby, the beds are very hard, the breakfast is poor and almost inedible, courtesy does not exist, the room was not even cleaned, the towels were never changed, only after we complained they were brought to our room, the management is ridiculous. Do not come to this hotel leave it alone.

After a 770 mile drive , a stay at the Dunollie hotel was more than welcome . Lots of parking space, lovely views , nice hotel , delicious food , local drink available and kind , helpful staff . To be able to relax and eat our food with wonderful views of the Scottish coast and mountains was just perfect .

I'll start with the positives. Fantastic waterfront location with stunning views and where seals and sea otters have been spotted. Rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Bathroom fresh and modern. The staff are mostly friendly and efficient although seem to lack overall training and direction. At times there seemed to be no leadership & staff were disorganised. Breakfast was good, hot & tasty. The hotel is let down by its truly awful dinners, bland and overcooked meat & veg summed up the various main courses my family and I had the misfortune to sample. (So awful no meal was even half eaten.) Starters & desserts were better. Beware the fancy descriptions though, berry coulis turned out to be a red ice cream sauce from a bottle! Whipped cream came pure white and clearly squirted out of a can! The hotel also suffers from a lack of attention to detail. My room had cups & tea/coffee facilities but no teaspoons. The bathroom looked recently redone but sadly the many paint splatters had not be cleaned off the floor. Only one unheated rail for our towels meant our towels never fully dried. Bathroom was unheated. Good wardrobe hanging space but no drawers. Duvet cover had a huge rip in it. Needed a net curtain at the window, was overlooked by several bedroom windows and had to close curtains to get changed! Skirting boards had last been dusted probably in 2021 and the carpet edges looked to have last seen a vacuum at a similar time! Despite having dozens of rooms and three coaches in, no evening entertainment was provided. Unsurprisingly not many people relaxed in the bar area (also a walkthrough from reception/ dining to rooms). The hotel could significantly improve its bar revenue if entertainment was provided. The lighting is also too harsh in this area. Also, despite being full, the bar in the restaurant was not staffed, causing diners (often of advanced age) to carry drinks down a flight of stairs. It would be great if an enclosed seating area was added, to enable guests to relax looking at the stunning views, without getting munched by midges. Currently only the dining room and some bedrooms have these views. The hotel has potential, and I would return if the issues were addressed & that was realised.

Anything but Bespoke. 1 stars for their restaurant and 3 stars the hotel. This was not our first choice for accommodations, but everything else was booked. The restaurant was dreadful and over price for what it was and the service staff were rude. We couldn?t get a table at any of the other restaurant so we were left to eat at the hotel restaurant. The rooms were small, average, and somewhat dirty. The floor had not been vacuumed. There were pieces of toilet paper or paper on the floor. The bed where is extremely uncomfortable hard as a rock. The shower was dreadful. There were no shelves to put any items like soap or shampoo; you had to put them on the floor. The shower floor was dirty with two different types of hair that definitely did not belong to me. Refer to the pictures. For what we paid for this hotel It was a pretty bad experience. Search elsewhere if you?re looking for a hotel do not stay here.Rooms: Room was not vacuumed, and the bathroom is dirty.Food & drinks: The food was terrible and over priced for what it is.There?s a reason why they haven?t listed this restaurant independently. You can?t find it on Google.Noteworthy details: The bathroom in the hotel rooms were dirty.
