I can't comment on the rooms but dinner here was fantastic. We had a five course tasting menu and loved every mouthful. Wonderful food, lovely staff, what's not to like?

My (now) wife and I stayed and dined here for our wedding which we had down on Elgol beach in late August. The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely incredible. The "An Nead" (the nest) thatched cottage was the perfect cozy retreat after our long days out exploring Skye. It is expertly put together with lots of attention to every detail. We also took the four course menu at the restaurant three times in a row and each night we didn't think it could get better but it did. We were impressed by the local sourcing of ingredients, high quality of preparation and the nuance of each dish. The wine list is extensive and personally researched by the ever-so-kind owners, and you really feel like they are welcoming you as old friends or family into their home. The location is just five minutes drive from Elgol beach, which is also the jumping off point for boat trips to Loch Coruisk. At first the boat trip was a second thought for me, but we quickly realized that it is a once in a lifetime experience and a major attraction on Skye. The wildlife, the ocean air, and hiking around a lake that has stood alone untouched for millennia is such a breathtaking experience. On the whole, we were extremely pleased with our time at Coruisk house and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. I would highly recommend dining, staying or preferably both whether for a special occasion or just as an opportunity to get away from it all, you will not regret it!!

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely beautiful dinner here. We arrived quite early after our boat tour in Elgol and were welcomed in and prepared some delicious cocktails. The service here was outstanding, the wine list is exquisite and the wine suggested for our meal was perfect. The food itself was some of the best we have eaten. We are already planning another trip back to stay!

Just returned from now our fifth stay at Coruisk House since 2018. As wonderful as ever - we feel that Iain and Clare have now become friends. Iain's food is exceptional (thank you for your superb Fish Soup again on our last evening) and thanks also to Andy and his wife Kirstie who are such key members of the team. I can't imagine a holiday in Scotland without including Coruisk House. Looking forward to next year.

Enjoyed an excellent evening with wonderful food. The ingredients were locally sourced and cooked as beautifully as the scenery from where they came. A well constructed menu that delighted my senses. The home made bread was exquisite. Well worth a visit . .

While I didn?t have a meal at the restaurant, the staff helped to make my parents 50th anniversary truly memorable. In the run up to the meal, Clare especially helped me organise some surprises from family and friends and added their own little treats for my mum and dad. They loved every morsel of the meal, the warm atmosphere in the restaurant and the very friendly waiting team. Thank you. I can?t wait to visit and enjoy the experience too.

Fantastic location, peaceful, remote and beautiful. Exceptional food and worthy of the Michelin accolade. Service was knowledgeable about every part of the intricate dishes. The wine list was a joy to behold especially if you prefer French wines. Cannot recommend enough.

I spotted Coruisk House on Michelin's website, recommending the food. As I don't drive, and the hotel is a little remote, I wondered if it was worth the journey. The answer is definitely yes. The property is charming, the location is beautiful, the service is friendly and the food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

We filmed an elopement at Coruisk House recently with the couple staying in the accommodation and we were blown away, Clare was the perfect host even as suppliers we were made to feel special. The location speaks for itself with some beautiful photo spots easily accessible. The styling and little touches throughout Coruisk House were next level. We were also honoured to be treated to dinner and wow the food was incredible! If you are visiting Skye you have to make a dinner booking here.Looking forward to our next visit.

Cozy, warm and delicious culinary experience. We were not expecting such a well crafted meal on Skye and we were pleasantly surprised. And let?s not forget the homemade bread! Such a delight. In addition, we discovered the Isle of Harris gin with which we immediately fell in love with. Overall perfect evening.

Claire and Ian were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was lovely and cozy when we arrived on a cold night. The view in the morning out over the sea in this lovely, peaceful location was beautiful. The breakfasts were lovely with tasty homemade bread, marmalade and muesli.WiFi was limited in our room but available downstairs in the dining room.Rooms: Ours was the smaller of the upstairs rooms but it had a larger bathroom. The decor is cozy and tasteful. The ceiling into the bathroom is very low in the larger room, due to it being an older building, a potential hazard for taller people.

Ok so I absolutely loved this place. The food was excellent yes such good food, but I have to say that the owners were wonderful. I love it when you get to not only meet the chef but get to know them. And the dogs were so much fun. I know a lot of people wouldn't like it but were dog people and we loved it. Made it so much more relaxing and inviting.

Coruisk House provides a truly authentic Skye experience. The locally sourced food is excellent and the setting intimate and timeless. The converted croft house gives a sense of the real history of Skye, and the people who lived here. I doubt that any other place on Skye has the same connection to our past, perfectly coupled with a connection to the best local hospitality and Skye produce of the present. Coruisk House is warm, cozy, relaxing and welcoming. Those who are looking to experience Skye for all its uniqueness, quietness, grandeur and charm should stay here. You will have an experience that only a handful of visitors to Skye have the privilege to have. Don't miss it.

I would give 6 out of 5 stars, if I could. We had the most wonderful and amazing dinner at Coruisk House, a 4-course menu. Let's just put it that way: Clare captures the magic of Skye and serves it on a plate as delicious and surprising dishes. We loved every second of our dinner in this cosy and lovingly decorated atmosphere. The drinks and wines also were fabulous, everything's chosen and offered with dedication. We're definitely coming back here and would highly recommend everyone to visit this fantastic place.
