Small, cosy and loving - this is the Blas cafe. We enjoyed very good fish and chips. A secret tip in Dunvegan.

The mushroom toast thing was to die for and I don?t even care for mushrooms. Dip some spicy crisps in the sauce. You?ll be happy you did. The hosts were adorable as well.

Went in for 2 teas on the way back to Portree. Left with 4 soups and a flapjack! Soup was absolutely delicious, and the apple/blackberry flapjack was seriously the best I've had. Anna was also a very good conversationalist and lovely to speak

Called in to Blas Skye today for Sunday Lunch. Brooke gave us the best welcome as soon as we walked in. Also advised us on the places to visit while we were on Skye. The service was really good, nothing was too much trouble. The Lunch prepared by Chef Stevie was so delicious. The owner Joan was really nice and helpful too. Blas has a friendly relaxed atmosphere, and great views over the road. There is a carpark 2 minutes up the road.

Stopped for lunch on way to Neist Point. We had struggled to find anywhere open at this time of year. Very friendly staff, cosy cafe with a nice log burner. We had homemade soup which was delicious and then a wee cake. All in all a very nice wee cafe.

We had lunch at the restaurant. The Oika is cozy, homely and warm design, the fireplace was burning and it was very pleasant to sit there when it was cold and rainy outside. The food was delicious, the service friendly and not obtrusive. Possibly the best meal we had in Scotland.

I really enjoyed the meal. The food menu is small but satisfying. We ordered lentil soup which was great, panko-fried dreamy and "scampi" (shrimp) which came with side dishes. Homemade food at its best! And a great atmosphere in front of the burning fireplace, on a cold September day. Recommended stop!

As soon as we entered the cafe we were greeted with bad customer service. The young boy working didn't seem happy to see us as customers and joked by saying, 'everyone get out', he then proceeded to serve an old lady (hard of hearing) at the till and ended up shouting at her for her table number. Shortly after, he goes to that ladies table and she asks what the soup of the day is, he says tomato, walks away saying, 'like I've said 4 times before'. We didn't like the way he was speaking to people, so we got up and left and went down the road to Mistys who showed polite and friendly customer service.

Such a little gem. Managed to book for the same evening, they squeezed us all in, including the dogs. The food was delicious - Seafood Platter and Sticky Toffee Pudding to die for! Patience and Kindness don't cost a thing and are rewarded with excellent food and lovely company.

Worst coffee I have ever had. Received luke warm coffee, when I complained about the temperature the server just poured in hot water. So now I had hot, very weak coffee.Toilet right next to the kitchenWhile waiting we heard the chef be rude to some other customers who wanted takeaway food. He shouted at them who do you think we are ?McDonalds?

We were there for dinner and had three courses. Everything was great, both the starter, main course and our two desserts. The service was relaxed, uncomplicated, very personable with a good dose of humor. The small restaurant is absolutely charming and highly recommended.
