One of the best meals I've ever had. Set menu with three options per course. All clearly fresh local produce, cooked to an exceptional standard. Incredible array of flavours in each dish. Good drink selection. Nice interior with good art and spacing between tables, and a view onto the bay. Attentive staff and, for the quality, very reasonable price.

One of the best restaurants, worth to travel to Lochaline (book the table first) and sleep in Lochaline Hotel. I know it is fine dinning but forget small portions :-)

Had a truly wonderful evening here. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in relatively remote location. The beautiful building has a lovely setting. We were really looked after whilst there. And, of course, the food was excellent. Absolutely top notch. Would love to come back here.

Possibly the best food on the west coast of Scotland! Loved this place - unique, intimate and exquisite fine dining at a very reasonable price. Been wanting to come here for a while and it didn?t disappoint.

I recently returned to The Whitehouse Restaurant in Lochalain for their lunch menu with my wife, and once again, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant itself has a wonderful feel ? stylish, classy, and with a quality that feels very natural and in keeping with its surroundings. We opted for the 2-course lunch, and from start to finish, it was exceptional. The red wine we ordered was superb and served at the ideal temperature. Each course was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The service we received was top-notch ? attentive without being intrusive, discreet, and genuinely friendly, with a noticeable attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend The Whitehouse for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Exceptional value thank you so much!

A Hidden Gem in a One-Horse Village
In a place where dining options are few and far between, the Whitehouse Restaurant Localine stands out as a real surprise. We had a fantastic evening here. I started with the trout, followed by the duck for my main, and finished with the cheese board for dessert ? each course beautifully prepared and full of flavour.
This is high-level dining in the most unexpected location. The service was warm, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food genuinely impressive. Well done to the team ? definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby.

Absolutely outstanding. Only a small 8 table restaurant. Nice, simple, relaxing & laid back set up.
The food was exemplary. Well worth the cost. I wouldn't class it as expensive as the quality deserved the cost.
Was seated for around two hours and left fully satisfied.
This is well worthy of being any cities top rated restaurant.
