Port Charlotte is my fav whiskey so we decided to visit them for our 3 year anniversary, amongst some other distilleries on Islay.
This visit was worth the whole trip and made me love this brand and whiskey so much more!
1. They were the only place that congratulated us and gave us a mini Dram as a gift.
2. We were the only people booked on that specific tour and they happily accommodated us
3. Katrina was the best tour guide, not only she was super knowledgable, she made everything even more interesting with fun facts and really taking her time to show us why we love Bruichladdich so much!
Oh and we forgot some bottles from another distillery there, Katrina was so observant that she remembered where we are staying and sent someone to drop off these bottles to our hotel's reception! How amazing is this! True hospitality and we couldnt have asked for a better tour and experience at our fav whiskey distillery - Thank you Katrina

We had a fantastic tour at Bruichladdich! It definitely had a different vibe compared to other distilleries on Islay?there was a lot less pomp and circumstance, but that made it feel more authentic and down-to-earth.
Our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the whisky, which made the experience even better. No frills, just great whisky and a genuine love for the craft.
The tasting was excellent as well?we got to try some unique drams you don?t find everywhere. Highly recommend if you?re looking for a more relaxed, but still educational, distillery experience!

Without a doubt the warmest tasting reception we had on our two week whisky trip. Ashley, was kind, patient and provided lots of information. The best overall experience, and amazing whisky to boot! You can?t go wrong here. (We bought our first bottle of whisky here - we couldn?t not!)

Bruichladdich is always my favorite destilliery tour on Islay. If you have time for only one go for the Warehouse experience, you will be able to try 3 unique drams in an even mir unique environment. Sitting in the warehouse with all the history of amazing cakes sprung you and being able to try a Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore is as good as it gets. Have done it 3 times by now and the guides were always sublime. Our last one was Eva the Junior Marketing Manager and she packaged a lot of every, passion and knowledge in the tour. Best time on the island and we will be back next year. Thank you very much.

The best distillery tour I?ve been on!
Bruichladdich is like stepping into a working Victorian distillery, it?s totally unique compared to any other distillery I?ve been to. Our tour guide Katrina was fantastically knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. I?d also like to say a special thank you to Katrina for being able to book my friends and I onto a tour less than 24 hours in advance, it was very much appreciated. Unlike other tours on the island for £20 they poured out 3 very good drams at the end of the tour, with Katrina expertly guiding our tasting. Definitely not just basic core range bottlings but actual distillery exclusives and Octomore! Superb value for money and an excellent experience, I could not rate it highly enough.

Bruichladdich was a top tier distillery visit and one of the best experiences on our trip to Scotland. The grounds were great looking, with bright teal paint, and easy to get to. The visitor center was large, with a bar and plenty of exclusive bottles available for sale. The warehouse tasting tour we tried was the real highlight. From start to finish our guide provided a memorable story of the distillery and generous pours directly from the barrels. 5/5 will be back again.

Fantastic warehouse tasting by Eva! Loved hearing the history of the distillery, background on the different spirits, plus a bit about growing up on Islay. We really appreciated learning more about their B corp certification and that there were special drams only available during the warehouse tasting. Hope to be back soon! ?

Oh wow. What a treat this was- here on a rainy day. Surprise!! Distillery tour was the best I have done so far- very personal and special. Seeing the vintage equipment was a bonus- Guide was very informed and clearly loved his job. Great distillery story. Also did the whisky tasting experience- and that too was totally worth it. By the way!! Great whisky- really really good!
