The best hot rolls in Scotland! A lovely warm cafe with incredible views. We enjoyed our lunch and hot chocolates here before kayaking back across the sound to Arisaig.

There's this thing about the UK in general where places selling food are only as good as they need to be, i.e. if you've got no choice expect the lowest quality. Think train station café, you get my drift.
So what is it about this place? The approach here is something else. You've got no choice, it's the only place to go for lunch and they're going to make damn sure it's as good as it can be. For those who believe competition is the only route to excellence, go get a burger at Galmisdale Bay Cafe and have another think.

A dog ate half of my bacon roll here. Lucky for him he was very cute, and he definitely enjoyed it. I enjoyed my half too.
The location is beautiful, and the food and service are very good. They have an extensive list of food and drinks, including a number of (very good) locally brewed beers. Definitely a nice place to end a day trip to or a long hike on the isle!

The food was definitely a 10/10. All of us had a BLT and a selection of soups to which we found that the homemade bread is very, very fresh and the soup, on the other hand, is in a league of its own and might be the best soup in all of West Scotland. Service was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and the view was fantastic.
