Went to this café with friends for coffee as a foreigner. We ordered politely , but the staff, especially the young ladies at the counter, were laughing at us while preparing the drinks. I ordered a macchiato thinking it was a regular coffee with chocolate, and when I reacted to the strong espresso, they laughed again. The experience felt unprofessional and disrespectful. They should?ve guided us rather than laughing and thinking we don?t understand english. Tx

Awful. Staff were rude and abrupt. One threw my sons straw at him. No toilets. The food was disgusting and my burger was raw and uncooked. I'll stick to my home towns cafes ...from one island to another...do better

Very traditional café, food excellent and though the service was a little slow because of the queue being out of the door for ice cream, it really wasn't too bad.

Visited 17th May, staff polite, friendly, helpful. Service fantastic. Cannot fault the service. Only downside no toilets *cafes with 10 or more seats are generally required to provide toilet facilities for customers.*
Hopefully they will look to resolve this matter.

Love coming here when we visit Millport. It's never changed and is a lovely traditional throwback. The staff are great and the food is delicious and cracking value.

Great wee retro 1950s-style diner. Food was good, as was the service. Only down side is that there are no toilets. Kinda spoiled having to eat a knickerbocker glory while clenching my buttocks before rushing along the street to the Twa Dugs pub to, well, you get the picture.

Can see why the place is up for sale. Food quality and portion size was worse than poor. Staff were having a conversation from one end of the room to the other over everyone and you could hear everything including the hilarity in the kitchen. Place was cold - staff wearing hoodies for heat. Also was pretty sure a cafe with that amount of seating had to provide toilet facilities to which they don't

Popped into the cafe for tea and a scone served by nice, friendly staff. Nice ice cream is sold here too.

We always make a point of coming here on our visits for lunch. The service is outstanding, all the staff are so friendly, and the food is always tasty and fresh. Have to mention the coleslaw which comes with the burgers, it is outstanding! And I highly recommend a marshmallow ice on a hot day!
