Garrison House Cafe was the best place for my daughter's wedding . Ceremony in garrison followed by drinks and canapés in cafe and courtyard then a full 3 course dinner in the marquee . Best canapés I've ever seen thanks to liz and gillian barbour . the food and staff were amazing and I can't thank everyone enough . Special thanks to Kerryanne and Ross Newton and all the cafe staff and to Judith Barbour and Garrison staff for organizing. Beautiful place for a wedding or any celebration

What a lovely place. An old stately home situated in beautiful parkland with pond and short trail walks ,perfect for us old gits.The restaurant has a rustic courtyard for summer days(not today) Great menu, No big main meals but really good breakfast rolls, Soup,Baked Potatoes, sandwiches, paninis and a really excellent selection of cakes and traybakes.Staff were terrific.Diagonally across from the main gate is the famous Crocodile rock on the shoreline although its currently difficult to view as promenade is under re- construction I shall return when possible. Thoroughly recommended.
