Nice enough. Pub nearby and American Diner and novelty bar about 15 min walk. Worth the walk though. Dropped a star because showers are coin operated.

Very beautiful scenery. Not particularly helpful or friendly staff, when calling to ask which side lines and fenders I got the reply, sailers coming into a new marina should set both sides up! Very expensive visitor fee more than Largs, extra for electric. For that you get a portacabin with coin operated showers, so don?t forget your pound coins because there is no shops to get any change. Wifi is poor and didn?t reach the berth. Will not be returning. I suggest the owners visit Tarbert to see how the professionals manage a small marina.

Nice marina, very friendly and helpful staff.£5 to connect to electricity is a bit excessive imo.Anchor Inn, 5 mi uses walk is a nice wee pub and when we were there the live music was excellent! ?

Nice quiet marina. Lots of local info, webcam and WiFi (limited range). Only negatives would be the limited toilet/shower facilities and lack of a washroom / kitchen

Picturesque bay just north of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

We (Halcyon Yachts - International Yacht Delivery) had a client in Port Bannatyne Marina who needed a little help with some boat paperwork. Kate in their office helped straight away and was a delight to work with. Very friendly and helpful - thank you!

Beautiful little island coastal village with a community pub a post office a bistro and a marina and a historic past with the mini subs of World War II being based here. A little harbour completes the picture. Well worth a visit.

Great wee Marina with very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are basic but clean and tidy and accessible at all hours. We came in for fuel and weren't able to get it at the time but were able to go out sailing and got a call when they were ready for us, the service cannot be faulted.

Excellent... very nice overnight stay. £1 coin for the shower, so lost a whole star right there..! Only joking.

Easy access to visitors berths and quite sheltered.Still restricted facilities despite lockdown easing. Only one toilet for female and one for male available to use and only one shower available for everyone to use. Bear in mind you'll need to have some change as showers take £1 coins. Couldn't find any dish wash facilities.Nice walks around port bannatyne and cafe at Ettrick Bay is worth the walk.

Amazing Marina - John and his team super helpful. Visiting over bank holiday break with the family and some pretty significant problems with the boat - no problem even over the weekend and on a bank holiday to help us enjoy a fantastic time. Sun to 25deg C swimming in the sea and F3-4 winds for the trips across the Clyde. Can?t think of anywhere I?d rather sail.
