A fantastic tearoom, in a brilliant location. The menu was extensive and the service was excellent, prompt, friendly and professional. Being half way round the coast road of Arran, on the West Coast, it is a perfect venue for breakfast, coffee, lunch or an evening meal or takeaway. What a find, I highly recommend for everyone who loves good food in a great location.

What a fabulous place to eat, be it breakfast, lunch or evening meal. We?ve had some wonderful food and taken many friends here too. They all love it and say how amazing the food and service is. Breakfasts are wide ranging and oh so filling, lunches varied and made to order and Sunday lunches incredible. As for the venison burgers and fish and chips, they?re fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic place to grab some lunch with beautiful views overlooking Kintyre. Food was beautiful, I had the fish nuggets and chips and the milkshakes were lush made with Arran's ice cream and Arran milk. Although rushed off their feet, service was excellent and friendly. We'll definitely be back soon!

This tea room/golf clubhouse has a lovely view but the food offering is of poor quality and very expensive. Many items are unavailable. It's a pity because the golf course is a little gem. Good for families to have a day out but go elsewhere for your refreshments.

Really surprised at the amount of good reviews. Service was really slow. In total from the time we arrived it took 1 hour 20 mins to get our food Many things on menu were not available! No soup ( at 12.35). No coronation chicken, no egg mayo! When food eventually arrived it was mediocre to say the least. Owner was full of woes and excuses! Restaurant did not look particularly clean and certainly not inspiring. Such a shame this doesn?t support the golf course!

Delicious home made lentil and vegatable soup, farmer style, warming and filling. Delicious home baking. A pleasant surprise on a rainy day in beautiful arran. How I wish there were more places like this in Scotland, no frills, honest tasty home cooking with relaxed service and a great view!

I live here and find it great to be able to get good food anytime to sit in or takeaway. I now have Emma's sausage rolls in my freezer for future treats. A real asset to Machrie. Last night's fish and chips were wonderful.

Called the first time and I had two sausage rolls they where beautiful too big to eat in one go so took one away with me and had it for tea my wife had a chicken rap and she said it was of the highest quality The next day called a gain we both had chips and fish nicest fish i have had in a long time both of us enjoyed the meal all served with a friendly smile and a bit of chat well worth a visit (Try the lemon cake )

Great food , wonderful service and stunning views over Machrie Bay! What more is there to ask for . Our pooch was treated like a VIP with a nice sausage treat brought out by the owner ! Emma & John are most welcoming and the Homemade food is stunning ( We even took away cake for later ! ) well worth a stop . Hopefully we?ll be back soon ?

So friendly, food is lovely and fairly priced for the island. Beautiful view and on a hot day there is outdoor seating to enjoy the sun.

Found this place on a drizzley Sunday. Had the warmest welcome and most delicious home cooked carvery. The view from the cafe was incredible. Would highly recommend.
