Without a doubt the worst nightclub I've ever been to.£10 entry, cash-only bar with option for cashback from the cloakroom with a lovely fee of £1 to take out your own cash. Simply unacceptable in 2023.Can't take your drink on the dancefloor or into the smoking area which means everyone's just standing around looking at the empty dancefloor. Can understand the smoking area somewhat due to licencing (Garage do the same in Glasgow) but on the dancefloor? What? People leaving their drinks at the doors for the smoking area which means they're nice and easy to spike.Within 5 minutes of being here I was asked by a lovely woman if I had any 'ching'.On the plus side, the DJ was actually pretty good and the venom cocktails were good. Lighting & cinema-style menu board referencing the previous usage of the building quite cool too.

If your a girl under 18 with cleavage on show there's no need to panic about getting in. Overpriced drink and the music is pretty much the uk singles chart top 20. Only decent nights in there are when a events on

I'm more in agreement with IckleCazza in saying that Pitchers is more a place that the younger set go to .When I say the younger I mean the underagers who do usually end up fighting at the taxi rank which is right out front in Bank Street.A former cinema (hence the name pitchers(pictures))was transformed into a nightclub a few years back now.Its a different proposition during the day as you can enjoy a reasonably priced quiet drink in the bar without having to worry about falling over all the kids who use it at night.Wuold be a last resort if at all for me due to that reason.

Excellent nightclub, Although there is quite a few to pubs and clubs to choose from in Irvine, Pitchers would have to my pick of the bunch. It is well located. It has 3 floors. The prices are resonalble. As is the entry costs. If you are looking for a great night out. I would strongly recommend giving pitchers a go. Especially if you like clubs. Im quite sure that the West FM DJ the MC man plays here regularly. I think its either on a Thursday or a Friday night he plays there. It is well set out. And there is always plenty of room to move about no matter how busy it is. It has a ultra modern feel to it. I cant really think of anything that could be improved.

Full of underagers and chavs, most likely to get caught up in a fight at the taxi rank outside. I have only been to Pitchers 3 times and that was more than enough. The bar during the day is ok though a bit on the small side.
