Love M&S products. I buy the super loaf at £2.40 a shot for 10 slices as I like to buy fresh every few days. Recently some of the loaves purchased which showed a best before date approx 3 to 4 days in the future were stale. Its happened on a few occasions now. I suspect the loaves are being re dated to a future day. Check with your supplier. Another thing the Super loaf is put on the top shelf which isn't easily accessible.

Amongst many other items I like the small Farmhouse Loaf @ £1.35 , they never seem to be sliced anymore, having to ask a member of staff to slice. Also the 6 loafs on the shelf today were all dated best before today (5thNov)so assume they were made yesterday or the day before. Do not feel we are getting a premium product as fresh as it should be.

Some really good deals and food is lovely, some items are expensive but if you watch what you buy and grab the best deals it can be better buy than other supermarkets

Left a very full basket of food shopping at their self serve tonight at half past six. Not a single checkout open and on asking if anyone was serving on the checkout I was no as no one was available at this time, I suffer with chronic pain and carpal tunnel and struggle even at a staffed checkout, when I said I was leaving the basket the staff member couldn't have cared less. I take it that Marks doesn't care about disabled customers

Wanted to say how helpful a member of your staff was yesterday. I had an online furniture delivery which had been a disaster. Came over to store to collect another order. Spoke to James who pulled up details on computer, he agreed with me and spoke to furniture dept for me He got everything sorted out and I am a lot happier about it. He is a credit to the store. He asked all the right questions on my behalf and I have to say how impressed I wasDorothy Williamson
