It's dog friendly which is not my issue it was during dinner and breakfast there was a dog which had free rain to walk about restaurant and staff happy to clap dog then serve you your food also room was poor right above venue with music playing late and right across from cleaner's room could here everything they where saying at 6am great worst night sleep I've every had at any hotel will not be using again Spa was great

Sadly our experience at the Gailes (restaurant) was extremely disappointing due to a number of reasons :UNCOMFORTABLE TABLE PLACEMENT & COLD DRAFTSOur table was situated right next to the entrance door, toilets and waiters station. Here, we experienced cold drafts whenever the door was opened. This was a birthday dinner for elderly citizens of which some ladies ate their meal while wearing their coats because they WERE that cold. In addition, there was a lack of privacy as the waiter's station was literally situated within a meter of our table (You could hear the majority of their conversations)ATTENTION TO DETAIL GOES A LONG WAYWine was ordered for the table. Usually a bottle of wine is presented to the guest, opened and then poured. This shows courtesy and adds to the atmosphere of the dining experience. Sadly, this did not happen. Our ladies ended up pouring their own glass of wine.SERVICETo finish off our meal, coffees and cointreau were ordered. Cointreaus were served incorrectly and eventually replaced twenty minutes later after asking three people why it was taking so long?It is unfortunate but as a group we agree that the service and atmosphere was poor!!! However, our star rating is purely for our meal. It was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all - Thank you ???Apologies Gailes, we are not ones to complain or give negative feedback but hopefully this review will encourage you to evaluate your services and customer experiences.

The food was good but the service was OK, I asked a question on a meal in the menu and all I got was "I normally work on the bar, I don't know" I asked for a cocktail which wasn't on the menu and was told the bar was too busy even though the restaurant was half empty.

My recent visit to Gailes left me thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with my day on the greens. They made sure that every aspect of my visit, from check-in to equipment rental, was seamless and hassle-free. The state-of-the-art technology and practice bays allowed me to fine-tune my skills, making it an ideal place for both beginners and experienced golfers to work on their game.After a satisfying round of golf, I relaxed at the clubhouse, which offered a delectable menu of food and beverages. The restaurant's ambiance was welcoming, and the food was a delicious treat after a day on the course.Overall, Gailles offers a first-class golfing experience. It's a place where you can enjoy the sport, soak in the beautiful surroundings, and receive exceptional service. Decent menu. Liz, our waitress was fabulous. However it us very overpriced for what you get. Restaurant prices for a cafe setting. Might go back for a coffee, but no food.

My daughter took me here as part of my birthday,we had a nice lunch,i had soup and sandwiches, sandwiches had a lot of filling the ham was very tasty,my daughter had a water melon and feta salad which she said was very nice ,staff very welcoming without being in your face, overall a nice time
