The breakfast burrito I had was fantastic. Unfortunately, there seem to have been changes made to the menu in the past few months and this place is now more of a coffee and cake place than a brunch/lunch location - they had 3 rotating sandwich options, a breakfast burrito, and granola, plus cake/sweet options. They have cut down on their vegetarian and vegan menu and introduced meat - there was only one vegan lunch option when I visited. We came as the reviews mentioned the wealth of veggie options so we were left confused. There are in total 4-5 indoor tables and one bar area so beware that you might need to get your items to take away or sit outside if it's busy.
This is not meant to be a negative review but more of an information post to manage your expectations.

Just grabbed a coffee on the way past with my doggo. A lovely friendly welcome and a great espresso ? Pip won't pass by without a visit.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent coffee. Staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. Only downside is the size, as the popularity of DG could easily fill a bigger location.

Very good latte with a delicious slice of banana cake. Very friendly barrista and a nice cozy cafe with free parking at the door. Also had a choice of flavoured coffees with turmeric and beetroot for the adventurous.

Saw some glowing reviews and gave it a try mid-week. Sorry, but not impressed, My Flat White coffee was luke warm, at best, the choice of cake was underwhelming and quite incredibly for any coffee shop, there were no scones available. We'll stick to the kirk centre in future.

Not much food wise to buy, coffees were ok and the milkshakes were nice but very small for the price
No toilet roll.

Thoroughly enjoyable stop. Oozing charm and high quality! Exactly the kind of place Aberdeenshire is short on.

Forget every other coffee you've had in this area ? Dreamy Goat just raised the bar! I've been on a quest for decent coffee up here, wading through countless bland brews and bitter disappointments.
Then, a Google search led me to this gem, and wow, did it deliver.
The first sip was a revelation. Think rich, dark chocolate notes balanced by a smooth, expertly-roasted flavor.
Honestly, it's vaulted straight to the top of my list, rivaling some of the best coffee I've found anywhere in Scotland.
And it's not just the coffee; the place itself is quirky, fun, and spotless. Friendly staff, too.
Dreamy Goat Coffee Co. is an absolute must-try. I'll be a regular here for sure, and next time, I'm sampling their food!

Welcoming cafe. Dog friendly too, not alone letting her in but happy to make her scrambled eggs! Very yummy brunch for peeps too. Highly recommend :)

I love Dreamy Goat! Small, slightly quirky. It may not have the most extensive menu but still an interesting range, good for vegans but with dairy options. Lovely food, generous portions. Friendly staff.
Kid-friendliness: I have enjoyed visiting with my primary-school-aged children. There is a nice kids' menu. It isn't the sort of cafe with space for young kids to run around or dedicated play area as it's just a small cafe, but it's generally accommodating and has high chairs etc available.
