Mind you my name is Lilly and im actually using my husbands google account as my phones been playing up lately. Anyway, yes i went in to speak to a consultant at the Head Gardener about colouring my hair. Spoke to John who said needed to get a strand test done as i was thinking of getting streaks of blonde on my naturally black hair. I was told I was going to get a call back about the result of my strand test and what options i had. Sadly till today im still waiting for someone to bloody gimme a call back and let me know the result of the strand test. Unbelievable. For an instance i thought this was racist maybe because im a coloured woman and my hair texture isnt exactly your everyday groove. Poor customer service and please when you say youll get back to someone whose waiting on you head on hand please do.

A bit of luxury and hairdressers combined. Staff excellent. Took me as a walk in. Very impressed with service. Be aware though that this is reflected in the price.

Highly recommend! Such a lovely bunch, this was my 2nd visit this year after relocating to Inverness. Natasha and Amy have both been very sensitive to the fact I have suffered from alopecia on and off for the last 13 years. Also, lots of truly lovely compliments from the ladies who were by front desk too before I left, made my day.. So happy, thank you all ?

It's taken me over a year to get over the trauma of having an experience here. I'm still trying to mentally recover.As an amputee who has lost all confidence I went to this hairdresser to get a new style ready for a charity zip line. I wish I hadn't bothered and got my dog to sort my hair. I asked for green, couldn't be done(learning night so not all colours available ?) but what I was told would be gorgeous deep red turned out to be orangy/salmon pinky and awful hair cut. Made to feel like a piece of dirt and offer to rectify wasn't until after the event it was done completed.Gutted, angry, never resolved and still feel very self conscious now.All in all they've ruined over a year of my life and would never recommend to anyone. Just seem to care bout how much money can we fleece because yes it was very expensive even for a student learning her trade.Will never visit againService: Hair coloring

Don?t know why I haven?t reviewed this place before but realised I should after quite a few cuts there! My go to is usually Natasha so was a little nervous about seeing a new stylist (especially when she told me she wasn?t as experienced as Natasha!) but Rebecca was wonderful! Took time out to explain about the toner and colour going into my hair and she really listened to what I wanted in my cut so I got exactly what I wanted!Noticed others have noticed the confusion around charges and final cost, which I have in the past too. So I rang this time in advance and confirmed the cost at the point of booking (having been caught out before) but when getting my colour put in I was told the toner would be extra and wasn?t a root and refresh as I was booked in for. The salon kindly corrected this whilst I was there (and didn?t charge me as it seems a new receptionist gave me the wrong cost) but I do think if this is happening frequently to customers then perhaps there needs to be some better transparency at the point of booking?Otherwise can?t fault the experience, all the staff are lovely and you always get really good service, so highly recommend!

Beware the extras the put in without informing you of such. The price I was listed was around £110 for half head highlights and a cut online. What they didn?t inform me was it costs an extra £30 for toner in your hair if you get any form of bleach in your hair. In other salons toner is usually included in the hair for blonde tones so be aware of this if you are booking. More transparency perhaps in pricing is needed especially if your not a hairdresser and as such don?t understand hair colouringService: Hair highlighting

I first attended this Salon last year and had my hair done by Natasha. I was pleased with the result and although rather pricey I'd previously struggled to find many salons cheaper. On my second visit I was booked in with Lauren. I had asked for highlights ( subtle) but the result was far from what I expected. It was way too blonde, practically one colour, and was advised that she would incorporate more low lights at my next appointment. This is not what you want to hear when your paying so much. As I don't like complaining I accepted this , but over the course of the following weeks my hair went more yellowey blonde and I felt quite upset. On my next appointment with Lauren, ( giving her the benefit of the doubt) I explained the problem and showed her pictures of what I wanted. She seemed to understand but whilst she was doing my hair I questioned her as what she was doing didn't seem right. She assured me it was okay but even before my hair was dry I could see that at least one inch of my root area was dark and the rest was lighter. A young man began to blow my hair however I began to panic and demanded to speak with Lauren. Natasha came over and said she could put a few more highlights through the root area but wouldn't have time to rectify it completely. Lauren did not once come over and take a look or apologise , she didn't even give me eye contact. As I was leaving I tapped her on the shoulder and said " thanks" to prompt her to say something and she just looked at me taken aback. My follow up appointment was with Lindsey, a senior stylist (so more expensive) however she managed to successfully resolve the problem. When it came to payment , I had expected not to be charged however I was charged for the wash and blow and only given the colour free of charge. I find this poor customer service and shouldn't of been charged anything in light of what had previously happened. I later discovered that Lauren wasn't even a qualified stylist and that most of the girls don't attend college and simply learn as they go along. Would never have let her loose on my hair had I known this. Lindsey is a pleasant girl but I have to say its taken several appointments to actually feel pleased with my hair. I attended yesterday with my 15% loyalty card ( after 6 appointments you get 15% discount. Although so I thought ? The card clearly states this but was informed today ( after querying it) that the discount only applies to the haircut part of the charge.( ** it doesn't state this on the loyalty card )So in total I paid £121.00 incorporating a discount of £9. I wouldn't mind but she only trimmed my fringe ? Where I used to live I would be paying £60 for exactly the same salon experience.Needless to say I won't be returning to this Salon , way over priced for the questionable service provided. The loyalty card I was given clearly had 6 circles in which to be initialed on completion of an appointment. ( NOT 4 ) I did complain at the time regards the issues with Lauren but didn't receive any apology or recognition of the mistakes by management or staff. I feel it is a very sad state of affairs that a year on , this appears as fresh news to you as I can assure you the matter was raised with your staff in an appropriate manner at the time. Unfortunately I found the resolution was more at my inconvenience and expense rather than yours. I would also like to mention that several of your staff have mentioned they do not attend college and have since learnt Lauren is now picking banana's on a farm in Australia which I have to say is no doubt more suiting to her talents and social skills.
