Friendly and very professional staff from start to finish, efficient (which I like).Great price for my lovely new specs. Will be popping in very soon for an extra pair of specs (I'm glad I sat on my old specs because I now realise how heavy and cumbersome they were). My Specsavers glasses are so light to wear and I can see much better (I left it much too long to get my prescription changed).

If it would allow me, I'd rate Zero!!!!! But for some reason, the lowest rating is 1 star!My 89 year old father purchased hearing aids at a cost of £1,095 from Specsavers. He experienced so many problems with them as they were so flimsy and they would often not work resulting in my dad having to physically take them into the store to be fixed. Not a convenience for an 89 year old man who walks with a stick!!! He had to take them back to the store on several occasions. Subsequently, he ended up upgrading to a more expensive set (£1,795.00) believing these would be superior and would give him no trouble. But no, these were just as flimsy and again he had to take them into the store to be fixed. (All this was within the 100 days return policy).A while later, I noticed my dad was wearing his old NHS aids and asked him where his new ones were to which he replied, "I'm not wearing them, load of rubbish, they keep breaking down and I'm just going to wear my old ones".I contacted Specsavers who told me "The audiology department is nothing to do with them, it is a separate franchise" and they gave me a number to contact someone called Mallory Peters.Miss Peters told me it was "outwith the 100 day refund period (my dad had been constantly taking the aids back to the store since purchasing them in August 2022 and this was only October 2023) and so there would be no refund and there was nothing she could do and if I wanted to make a formal complaint, I was free to do so but it would ultimately come to her and she was not going to do anything about it"! I told her it was ridiculous that the product they sold my dad needed so much maintenance and kept breaking down causing my dad to have to physically take the aids into the shop to be fixed. Her reply was - "your dad can send them in the post" I said but then he'd be without them to which she replied "he can send in one at a time" Absolutely shocking customer service and advice!!!!!!!I contacted Consumer Advice and they gave me information saying my dad had Consumer Rights and I could take Miss Peters to Small Claims Court. I sent an email stating this is what I intended to do to which she replied she would refund 40% of the £1,795.00 which amounted to £718.00 but in order for this to happen, I would need to return the hearing aids!!!I was not sure if we would win in the small claims court so accepted her paltry offer so that my dad would at least receive something back of his hard earned money but it really angers me that Mallory Peters has kept the majority of my dads money AND has the hearing aids back!!! Is she going to re-sell them??Luckily, my dad had me to help him but there will be a lot of elderly people out there with hearing aids that don't work and they would have no-one to help them! And Specsavers won't help them and Mallory Peters won't help them.I honestly believe this company should be investigated - Sub-standard Hearing aids are being sold in their stores for a lot of money but they are taking no responsibility when there's a problem and then you have to deal with the very 'military minded, greedy Miss Peters!!!!I hope people take note of this and go to a proper Audiologist with good customer service. Because for sure - You will not get this from Mallory Peters or Specsavers. This is an ADD ON to my original review :Specsavers replied to my review with a message to contact them through Facebook blah blah blah! so that they can look into my experience further!!!!I will not be doing this as I had already emailed the owners (Doug and Mary Perkins) who did not bother to email me back but someone did email me back saying they had investigated my case and the outcome was that they were unable to help!!! They did not 'investigate' my case as this would have taken time to do and it is my opinion that they got Mallory Peters side of the story and went with that!!Specsavers reply to my review is insulting and I emphasise that they are SUB STANDARD COMPANY WITH NO AFTER SALES

First time using Specsavers after too many disappointments elsewhere. First impressions did not start off too well, However once going properly a very good experience with the actual Ophthalmic Optician and Dispenser.

Whilst visiting family near Inverness my toddler broke his glasses which had been supplied by another specsavers store. Despite the fact they no longer stocked his frames the staff were able to find a set in storage that fitted his lenses and they were able to get the wee man sorted in just a few minutes. The staff were very friendly and courteous and couldn?t do enough to help. 1st class service all round.

If first impressions are a lasting impression something needs to change at Inverness - chaos the second you walk in- more like a morning in Smithfields meat market. Desite introducing myslef and informing the member of staff that I was attending an 11 am appointment I was asked THREE times within a minute by the same member of staff my name.Too much bustle and not enough concentration on the answers been given to their questions.

To deny use of a toilet to a 90 year old patient in an emergency is disgusting. I will avoid this store at all costs.

I have used this store for years and up until now would have rated it 5 stars. Too impersonal now. It is a professional service I know well myself but, a degree of warmth is required.

Called in today without an appointment as had an eye issue that concerned me. First class service with very friendly and helpful staff. Just confirmed why I am a Specsavers customer for routine eye tests. Thank you!
