Ordered flowers for a patient in Raigmore hospital. The 2 ladies I spoke to were both very helpful as I was ordering from Glasgow. Florist made sure she delivered them by lunch time today. Simpsons could not have been more helpfull and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

We went to see Santa at the garden centre. I paid £15 for each of my grandchildren and I felt it was a huge disappointment. Years ago there were real reindeer and a drink and mince pie at the end. They also had a fantastic display set up with talking reindeer etc. This year nothing except walking through a reasonable display and then santa and a little gift. The snow globe thing at the beginning was broken and nothing to compensate for that. I can't fault the staff working there and the santa was good but it was completely overpriced and not what it used to be.

Three for lunch, one soup two sandwiches, one soft drink £34!! £10 for an egg sandwich!!! It was very tasty but way over priced. Only hot offering was roast turkey, don?t believe the flashing board for breakfast, only to be told it finished say 11.30, why not switch the screen off? Staff neither polite nor impolite but all sullen and hardly over content

Wow, one of the best afternoon teas I've ever had. Lovely welcoming staff, fantastic festive atmosphere, sandwiches fresh and very tasty, sausage roll delicious, cakes amazing. Endless cups of tea, need I say more. Simply delicious.

Dear Simpson?s, we have been travelling to Scotland and specifically Inverness now for a couple of years with this being our fourth trip. We stumbled across you yesterday and can?t believe we missed you before! What an amazing store and polite helpful and kind staff. We came in yesterday for breakfast and returned today for our Sunday lunch. Neither day disappointed and again we were met with welcoming smiles. Thank you to you and your team who clearly work so hard to make this a fab place! Keep up the good work and see you in 2024 when we return! If I can write this review anywhere that helps then please let me know. Merry Christmas! Keith and Michelle

Took my kids to visit santa, followed by some treats from the cafe.
By far the best experience we've ever had. All staff in store engaged so well with my kids and myself, which made a huge difference to us.
The food is absolutely gorgeous and the snow globe was an added bonus for my kids. They absolutely loved it.
By far the best santa experience we've been too and definitely cater for those with additional needs. Absolutely brilliant!

We always opted to eat at Simpsons when in Inverness. Last time we visited we noticed that some of the breakfast items weren?t of the quality they used to be. We visited today and paid £24.96 for two seven item breakfasts with coffee. This is actually expensive for what it is. We knew the price but didn?t expect such low quality food. Neither of us opted for Lorne sausage which used to be top quality butcher Lorne that was second to none. It is now mega thin pinkish coloured sliced sausage, the soft type you can buy very cheaply in Bookers. The sausages were barely warm (definitely not at the required hot holding temperature) They were over cooked too. Cold beans, cold soggy toast, barely warm hash browns. The black pudding was exceptionally dry, I?m sure it?s a different type being used now. Overall, a very poor advert for this once top notch restaurant. I?ll get the standard reply about how they only use quality ingredients. Sorry, you don?t anymore. The staff are hard working and always pleasant. I wish I had been writing a more positive review. I doubt we will return. Very disappointing.

The resteraunt has improved in their salt content in their lunches thank goodness because it was far too much before. Thanks chef! And the garden part of Simpsons should check their plants on sale as they should know if there is problems with plants so not sell them, eg. suckers. I discovered after buying a rose that it had two suckers which were very difficult to get rid of and the rose had been very expensive. Come on Simpsons you're making good profits I'll just buy plants online instead if this happens.

Booked and paid in advance for afternoon tea as a treat for one elderly and one autistic relative. Arrived a little early but we were shown to our table. When food arrived it was only for 2 not the 3 of us. Had to show order receipt twice to confirm I had paid for 3 people not the 2 as shown on the member of staff's list. Service was initially fine but I realised quite quickly I was sat on a wet seat. I exchanged my chair and mentioned this to 2 members of staff that I was unhappy about what had happened. I joked that I hoped it was just water that had been spilt and received a grimace from one member of staff and a distasteful look from the other who mentioned it had been an old man who was seated on chair previously. She did confirm seat was soaking. No offer of a cloth or wipes for my clothes. I felt uncomfortable thinking about what I may have been sitting on throughout the remainder of time there so we didn't finish our food and instead asked for this to be boxed to takeaway. I have to say my previous experiences here have always been very good but this time I left feeling very very disappointed with the level of service and cleanliness.

A very busy place we go to regularly, good staff, well run. Tea and coffee good, large selection of cakes, a lot gluten free. It has a large seating area, which can get very busy. Something we are aware of, and we have on occasion not bothered queuing.

Simpsons we used to love you but I?m afraid you?re not our first choice anymore. I visit weekly, at various times of the day, with my mum who has chemo each week and looks forward to eating at Simpsons afterwards. Over the course of the last 6 months we have both been served old looking baked beans and dry breakfast items, even on the days we?ve waited outside before 9am for you to open. We?ve had cold food that was meant to be warm, we?ve had lukewarm tea and coffee, and every single time we have crisps with salad they?re soft and taste like they?ve gone off. My mum has specific dietary requirements and despite me making that clear when we order the food usually always arrives with the item we asked to be removed. We don?t mind paying your prices but we are becoming very weary with the quality of the food. The staff are lovely and work well under pressure, it can get very busy at lunchtimes and weekends. Really hoping you can sort out these niggles and we can get back to our weekly visits.

I was in the other day. My friend dropped her tea and a young boy with black hair with a mullet, said foul language And then proceeded to tell me and my friend to leave the restaurant.

Must be the most expensive coffee and scones in Inverness - extortionate prices £3.99 for standard coffee - £3.99 per scone - ridiculous. Definitely wouldnt return or recommend

Very below average service and seriously overpriced teas and coffees. Much better menu, drinks, prices and service elsewhere locally

This used to be a value for money place to eat. But yesterday, decided to head there for tea and cake. The best part of £15:50 for 2 pots of tea, 1 small cheese scone and a piece of cake is a rip off, especially when this is a counter service establishment. I can, and do, get better value in a couple of local table service cafes. After we got our tea and cake, there were no clear tables. (This was mid-afternoon, and it wasn't that busy). So we had to clear a table before we could sit. For over £15 I expect much better service and cleanliness. The person who served at the till was lovely, TBF. But the test of the cafe staff looked fed up and exhausted. For £15 I'd except the staff to be well renumerated and cared for. I didn't get that vide at all. It will be a VERY long time till we return
