“This has to be one of my favourite charity shops in Inverness. This is mainly for their selection in books. I love spending an afternoon wandering around the charity shops looking for second hand books or other nice bits and pieces. The British Heart Foundation also has a range of goods that are not second hand as I have seen what look like new gift sets of scarves, hair clips, ornaments etc. Hard to review other areas of the shop as their stock is based on generous donations from the public but they seem well-stocked.”
“We arrived on level 2 car park and close to the exit to the shops which was really fine. The lifts were large enough for either my wife or me in our chairs with a carer, but not together. But it was not so busy as to be a problem. We met up on the top floor and sat there for a while trying to figure out where to go as there did not seem to be clear signage or an obvious map of the cenyto help. I am not saying that there wasn't one, just went didn't spot it. I got my trusty phone out and googled a map of the centre. Just as well I did, where we were, to be honest, it didn't look like much and we were debating going dota floor and out to the streets!
However, once we had our bearings, there were several shops of interest. There were even a few market style stalls in the ailes which we had no problem with, as they were plenty wide enough. In fact it gave the centre more character!
We enjoyed the shops, and it was a fine base for going out to see the local shops in the streets nearby.
So would I recommend it? On the whole, yes. But outside and inside, Inverness seems a bit reluctant to provide plenty of clear signage to help promote their lovely city!”
