“We were let down last minute on NYE by another restaurant 15 minutes before our booking, we called Blackfriars not expecting to get in & they were able to accommodate for us 10 minutes later for a table of 7. The service was amazing, the staff were on top of everything, food was amazing & the live music was a great bonus too! They even managed to accommodate giving us half an hour extra than what we were originally meant to have. Will definitely be back & recommend!”

“What a lovely and helpful man we saw today!My daughter wears specialist shoes from the hospital but if they break she obviously needs a spare pair while more are made. Shoe zone is the only place that stock shoes small and wide enough to fit her feet. We have been relying on a certain style for some time but today they weren't in store. We were approached and asked if we needed help, I explained the situation and while they weren't in shop stock the shoes were ordered for us to be delivered to our home. Top service! Thank you.”

“I do enjoy a visit to Next. I usually go to the Next in the Retail Park in Inverness. If I come into town I visit this one in the Eastgate Centre. This one is not so big so there is less variety. It does, however, sell different things. The Home section is like visiting a modern living room, it is well set out, someone has an eye for detail. I suppose most people shop online for Next but I like to see what I am actually buying in store. For me, always a good visit.”

Came into store to be told it wasn't possible, but instead of leaving it like that, the lady then showed me another way to send back on her phone and even where to go and how to use it. “I was recently on a weekend break in Inverness with my husband. We went for a look around the shops and I saw some shoes that caught my eye. The assistant was friendly, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Her name is Eilendh (hope spelt correctly!) I bought the shoes and got a good recommendation for somewhere to eat that night too. Altogether a great experience, lovely shoes and a great meal at the Snow Goose. Thank you.”

“It had disabled parking at the door and an accessible entrance, which was fine, so off we went to look for what the bairn wanted. Unfortunately it was not there. But there was a decent selection of goods. However, the thing that struck me was the size of the store. Inverness is the Highland capital, it serves a vast area, so I have to admit I was expecting something a bit larger, more suited to it's position.
Would I recommend it?
Yes, but bear in mind, it is not as large as you might think.”
