Beautiful building and most staff were charming but the barman was actively unpleasant. Surly, rude and extremely unprofessional. He should not be in any kind of customer facing role

All fur coat and no knickers. Beautiful lobby but extremely shabby rooms and corridors, run down lift, terrible views, unfriendly staff. No parking (unless you are the first 9 guests) need to walk 5 mins with your bags etc..and pay 9 pounds for the privilege

Inverness itself a good day trip. TripAdvisor has this hotel at 4 star with minimal reviews which should have been the first red flag but we thought maybe people were being harsh because it is an older hotel. However they were right. The staff is cold and distant. This place is not worth the almost £155+ for the stay.
