The Nationwide Building Society has been remarkably consistent for me. I have been a customer for years. The fact they remain on the High Street tells you they are doing something right. The Nationwide in Inverness is opposite the Eastgate Centre towards the Eastern end of the High Street. I like the fact they have someone on the public side and it is easy to hand in a completed form. They do have ATM if you need cash and it is straightforward to make an appointment for more complicated transactions. Highly recommended.

Went in to transfer money to a company for a purchase.
Was told I needed id
My partner had a copy of my driver's licence on her phone. Which apparently was not good enough.
Did not help I wasn't allowed to withdraw the money to put in my partners account so she could do payment. Woman on desk wS moody told me I wasn't allowed dog in here but they didn't mind!

I never give reviews but this building society is excellent. Tina , who I haven?t seen in awhile ?.hope she?s still there, is always efficient and helpful. She is your best asset and I?m quite sure this is why you have so many positive reviews. Thank you for all your help over the years Tina. You have gone above and beyond my expectations on may occasions.
