Lovely, central hotel. A bit short staffed in bar areas.
Location is very central and can be quite noisy (nothing to do with hotel) so maybe advisable to get a higher floor room, or riverview
Rooms: Spacious, clean, well equipped
Nearby activities: Great spot for pubs, restaurants and cafes

Great location and friendly staff BUT this is in no way a 4 star hotel. I find that (and the pricing) very misleading. The hotel and rooms are tired and dusty. Someone was smoking weed and it could be smelled on the elevator. Not remotely worth the £150/night price tag.

First off let me start by saying I have stayed at Mercure's elsewhere in the world so when I booked this I was sure I found another amazing hotel w a beautiful location. I couldn't have been more wrong. I will say the front desk person who was apparently running the ship, because no one else was available, was the most lovely person. I wish I could remember her name.
I had 2 rooms, one of the rooms we were in had a broken window that could not be fixed as we were told there was no maintenance staff on duty. We were given a space heater and an extension cord to be able to keep warm. The hotel was fully booked and the only 2 rooms available had beoken showers so we couldnt be moved. Thank goodness because otherwise it was freezing. There was black mold in both the rooms, the only thing that worked was the hot water. It was lucky that we got the extension cord on top of everything because there is literally only one plug in the room. This hotel is probably one of the world's I stayed in my entire trip and it's making me rethink the brand. It's true 1 stay can sour a relationship so next time I look to book I might rethink my decision of an Allcor property. To top it all off I was charged another $15 After I checked out and still have no clue what that is for? I want my money back.

Rooms bit dated and if on road side can be noisy at weekends. Service and staff are amazing Rudney and Shubh couldn?t do enough to help, the breakfast choice is really good (defo try the whisky porridge and the haggis)

Run down hotel in need of renovation.
The hotel breakfast was so-so with little variety.
The location and staff were top notch

This is the second time I've stayed here for work, great location right in the centre of Inverness, the rooms are adequate but not plush, my room faced onto Church Street which is noisy until 1am,not ideal if you need a good nights sleep, £12 for overnight parking as well ?, breakfast was OK not the best I've had 3/5

Took over 1hr30 mins for a curry and a fruit salad, the fruit salad never came, gave up waiting.
Bars filling outside bin up with glass and banging the lid every morning between 4.45am and 6am in the courtyard below my window.
Had a towel with blood spots on.
Cleaner didn't change bedding unless I stripped it off, I only took the do not disturb sign off the door once a week. They just turned the cover over one week, Dover cover had a rip in so was very sure of this. Didn't hoover room either. Desk sticky on arrival, didn't get cleaned for whole stay. Rooms could be cleaned ALOT better
Rooms dated and very cold in winter even with supplied oil filled radiator on constant.
Advertised with gym but not one on site.
Prices in winter are reasonable but £200+ a night, it's daylight robbery.
Car park used by people who aren't staying so regularly fills up.
Only good thing is the location.

Room was tiny and dark due to a light not working and windows aren?t very sound proof but it was in a great location!

Price-performance is ok. Good starting point for exploration.

Great location but no usb ports in rooms, no phone in room and no 110 electric.
Rooms: Small and not electrically friendly
