Planned on getting a new kitchen so thought this would be a good place to purchase from. Despite being the only customers in, walking round showroom for 5 minutes and 3 staff members sitting at their desks, nobody approached us. Call me old fashioned but when spending a considerable amount of money, not the sort of customer service I would expect.

Dissapointed.Ordered kitchen. Issue with hood. Told by magnet that the manufacturer deals with any issues so I must call them. After calling them on 3 separate occasions no one has been sent out to deal with it.I will be calling today for the 4th time. The manufacturer uses a company called 0800 repair in N.E England, but they then subcontract someone out up here. I contacted the sub-contacter and they no longer fix this brand of oven hood because the parts are hard to come by. (Elica)Rather inconsiderate and somewhat convenient for magnet to flog goods and just pass the buck onto the consumer.Furthermore, I would say the Zanussi induction cooker is also sub standard. It certainly doesn't operate like our previous one - to regulate the heat it clicks on and then off, as opposed to a steady stream of power (as on previous model).I'm unsure whether this is an intentional design issue (to save money) or a faulty unit, other reviews online concur, so perhaps design. You would hope that as a reputable wholesaler Magnet would select quality goods - false.It appears its stack em high sell em fast! Yeeha

Litter strewn around the outside of the showroom . Weeds growing around the parking area.Why would I buy a kitchen from them when their attention to detail is so poor. Minimal effort , maximum costs , I?ll pass thanks.

The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. As a buyer pay attention, I was under the misapprehension that a kitchen worktop comes with the flat top cooker and sink unit already cut into the worktop. I was wrong, now I have to go find me a jigsaw or get someone with a jigsaw in to do the cutting. You only get one shot at this so best get a professional which undoubtedly pushes up the overall cost.

Kitchens appear to be pretty good on the surface though we have not bought one so don't know what their are like for real. We were put off by the limited selection of door colours.
