On a Tuesday, the day before my flight back home, I walked to Farm Ness for the Hairy cows and James Pringle Weavers to shop for Scottish goods. There is a lot to choose but I travel light with a carryon luggage and tote.
I bought two Scottish style hats, socks and a miniature bottle of Scotch.

There's an excellent selection of clothes and gifts in the retail area as well as an interesting historical section on the way in. Good place for visitors and locals alike.

I bought shoes at Holm Mills Shop and after only 3 months of wearing them they went completely destroyed. The staff there refused to give me my money back accusing me of destroying my shoes on purpose.

Another of Inverness's gems. A fairly good choice of menu at good prices. This was a converted Woolen Mill now a shopping centre with a wee area set aside showing it's past. Well worth a visit.

Lots of steps down from main entrance and uneven flooring throughout however the shopping and food areas are fully wheelchair accessible. Prices are as you could expect at a wooden mill (not cheap) however most items are very good value.

Went here for kilts. No such luck with my size (52), but we purchased a lot of amazing wool clothes including tartan dresses for my wife and amazing sweaters. They even stayed later for us.
