Great place and awesome experience. Breakfast was a blast, the rooms were awesome, and the views from the buildings were great. Brewery and distillery wasn't bad either. Great location to get to most things in town as well so no Uber or driving really required.

We stayed in the Waterside building just above the restaurant in a two bedroom apartment with view on the river. The apartment was big, the bathroom clean, very good shower power and super comfortable beds as well as pillows. The location is unbeatable and the breakfast was delicious with plenty choices to choose from. I thought the rate was also reasonable for what how good the place is.The main building with the brewery is amazing. It really exceeded expectations and I can't wait to be back. Thanks.

Excellent location,Came back here for a second stay 5 years later and it was good but there was no hot water which meant no heating or showers. Sadly I made reception aware of this and was told "oh yes you are not the only one! No one has hot water!". If they expect people to pay £120 a night with out heating or shower with no compensation sadly I don't think this hotel will be with us much longerRooms: No hot water or heating but room looked nice enoughNoteworthy details: Be aware no hot water or heating. Only stayed one night but cold and no option for shower! No compensation offered for lack of hot water

cozy. I stayed in a single room, which was decorated in beautiful colors and had all the living facilities, including a bathtub. The TV works great too. The only inconvenience is the two faucets, one is too hot and the other is too cold. Sometimes it is difficult to adjust the desired warm water. There would be noise outside the door around 10 o'clock in the morning, and one day the sound of the vacuum cleaner was deafening for a long time. . . Overall, it was a good stay. The guy at the front desk the night I checked in was very professional and friendly!

Had a river view room in the Alexander building. This gives excellent river views and allows for some people watching as well. The evening meal was lovely, well presented and served. All the staff were consistently helpful and polite and are a credit to the hotel. We hope to return again soon.Highly recommend.Rooms: River view rooms are recommended.Walkability: Easy and level riverside walk or into the town centre.Food & drinks: Booking is recommended for the hotel restaurant. Good choice on menu.

Arrived at 1300 having just got off the train. Receptionists at front desk advised that check in was 4pm and we could not get in earlier.Advised to leave luggage in open lounge area, no tags no security measures in place to ensure safety. On return we were sent to the back of beyond overlooking the bin area. The stairs to our room were uneven and hand rail at top of stairs was loose. Floor had multiple trip hazards along the route.Room was clean but bed springs poked into back that I went home in pain. No chairs in room just a small stool. The shower if you are of a merger body type was a bit of a squeeze.Breakfast buffet was adequate and service was reasonable. Although getting coffee was a challenge at times to get the servers attention.Advised reception of issues with bed and stair rail but didn?t seem interested or offer any reduction in price.I wouldn?t plan a return visit to this hotel despite it being right on the river.Safety: Needs reviewed by health and safety because floor was so uneven it would a potential trip hazard for any people with mobility or visual impairments.

The location is absolutely fantastic. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants and markets, and you would be right by the river. The brewery/distillery is absolutely fantastic, with an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff. See picture. Super comfortable beds, really nice, cozy rooms. The reception staff was cordial and polite. If you are a couple travelling, this is a great spot. If you are a family, make sure to book the family suit, because the extra bed we asked for was a joke (more on that below).Disliked:- Broken glass on our bathroom floor. Granted, the 3 pieces were not in areas easily stepped on, but a little attention to detail goes a long way in hospitality.- The room is advertised as "river view", and it technically is, if you are standing up by the window. If you would like to sit on the comfy chairs enjoying a beverage and watching the view, your view would be the white low wall that separates the property from the sidewalk. See picture.- All "extra beds" are banged-up frames that could not hold the paper thin "mattress" that comes with it, let alone a proper one. We tried two of them, and then we put the frames aside, put two "mattresses" on top of each other and our daughter slept on the floor. See picture.

Friendly hotel on the banks of the River Ness, with parking in a group of very charming houses. It overlooks the cathedral on the other side of the river. Comfortable bed, generous breakfast with buffet and hot dish to choose from.

Nice hotel, we were in small apartments next door. It's warm, bathroom a little dated and room not necessarily well insulated but it's still ok for one night. I like the location and the buffet breakfast ?

The hotel is lovely, nicely located near the city centre so it?s easy to get around. My biggest disappointment is customer service. I?m staying in a hotel room for one month, fully paid and I asked if I could use a microwave to warm up my food. I was told no, because it?s a liability of some sort. Coming all the way from South Africa, I must say I was highly disappointed. It?s a minor accommodation that I felt could have been granted. Otherwise, my stay was okay.
