“Stopped for diesel and my wife popped in for a bottle of wine. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I used the outside water bucket and sponge to clean off some bird droppings and she laughed when I told her, as she couldn't remember the last time anyone had used the buckets. Diesel was way cheaper than the motorway service stations.”

“Best price in while of Scottish Highlands ATM., I checked ! No kiosk, pay at pump, right next to Asda Superstore & huge car park, not far out of central in Inverness, maybe 10-15 minute drive”

“The best fuel station I have been to in 10 countries! The prices are reasonable but most important it has a shop inside with snacks plus everything you need for your car in case of emergency including instant temporary flat repair. Given the roads in the Highlands, even if you’re renting a car, this is something you should carry and I wish we had thought of it before we got our flat. Even the bathrooms are extraordinarily clean, with soft and thick toilet paper! You won’t find that even in some of the better hotels.”

“Fuel and inside Spar shop with Costa and Food to go. You can use Shell fuel card here. Only downside is that people fill up and then spend ages shopping in the Spar instead of moving to a parking spot, which means waiting ages for the fuel pumps whilst they dither about.”
