“We used Sharon Leon to complete all the flooring and carpets in our brand new home. First experience of Aviemore showroom was disappointing as there never seemed to be anyone around to ask questions so we decided to book an appointment at the Inverness store as we wanted a comparison quote with another local provider. Simon and his colleagues in Inverness were immediately knowledgable and there was an excellent range to choose from. They listened to our requirements and offer options allowing us to help refine our choices. Our new property has underfloor heating and an air source heat pump so a few unknowns but Simon helped navigate through the questions with a bit of friendly banter along the way and resulted in a cheaper quote than the other company we worked with. The order process was smooth and any questions dealt with quickly and efficiently. Arrangement for fitting were confirmed in advance. I have deducted a star as fitters did not arrive as expected on first morning, they had been booked into another job and eventually arrived at lunchtime following an apology from the store. After that fitting was straightforward and very happy with the end product. I would recommend them for you flooring needs.”

Personal and helpful advice when choosing my kitchen prducts.Always available to answer any queries.However, I found the invoicing and payment process to be confusing and lacking.I was given the price of my final invoice and paid immediately. Only to be informed 6 weeks later, that I had underpaid and a further amount totalling over £200 was required. As I had not been provided with copies of my final invoices, I had to request them and spend time checking all products/prices and payments myself. This was not exactly what I had expected from Howdens”

“I always enjoy a browse at Lakeland. They have so many useful things for the house for sale. I like the fact that they have someone available to ask where things are. I also believe they sell good quality items. The shop is located on the ground floor of the Eastgate centre in Inverness and it is easily accessible.”

“Simpsons Garden Centre in Inverness offers a wide range of products for gardening, home decor, and more, with something for everyone. The variety is impressive, and the store is well-organized. However, I find the prices on some products fair but most of them to be ridiculously overpriced.

I’ve visited the coffee shop and restaurant many times, but I feel compelled to leave a negative review after my recent experiences. The staff is consistently rude, and I’ve observed multiple occasions where food was served without gloves. Even worse, I’ve seen staff touching their faces, mobile phones, and kitchen bells before handling food, which is concerning from a hygiene perspective. The coffee is equally disappointing—it really needs some serious improvement. The lack of coffee training is obvious, and the drinks are consistently poor quality. I’m making an exception in leaving this review because, as a regular customer, I’ve had enough of the subpar service and unsatisfactory food and drink experiences.”

“Bought a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa in december and was delivered 1 week later. After 3 and a half weeks 1 of the back rests started making a scraping noise. Went in on a monday and spoke to the very helpful Fiona, who arranged for a service technician. We got a call the next day to arrange the the technician for the following day. Jack arrived and had the issue fixed within approximately 15 minutes, he said it must have been an issue when it was made at the factory.We could not have asked for more or better service, fault reported and fixed all within 3 days.Fiona is briliant and a credit to Blackbridge furnishings.”
