Picked up the new car today. Must be my 7th from Dicksons .Theyre Great dealers and their exellent salesman David Gray never fails to make the whole transaction seamless. Were not car buffs. So, without this guys knowledge and patience helping us choose the right car for us we'd have been lost. As its is weve always been happy with the cars we've had from him. The couple of times weve strayed from Dicksons have not been nearly as good. Exellent team there for servicing too

What is the point of warranty when you have you pay to get it fixed elsewhere because you can't wait 7 weeks ! I have a noisy timing chain which could go at any point and cause catastrophic issues but guess what 7 week wait to be seen ! Had to pay another garage to fix wiper issue in December as could not been seen for over 6 weeks, awful awful service. I will NEVER buy a KIA again. I have modified my review after the response below - this is just really unacceptable, as a car owner would you accept this ? I could understand a week or 2 but 7 weeks ? This will never be acceptable. If my timing chain fails before my appointment should I expect Kia to cover the cost of the new engine ?

Visited the Kia dealership. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This is our third car from here, that says it all. The showroom is wheelchair accessible, & there is an accessible toilet too.

I have used many car dealers so far and Dicksons MG is definitely one of the best. Nice and professional service, the car was repaired and returned on time, a free replacement car, my car was cleaned and washed after the repair, and a few small gifts in the back seat. I definitely recommend it to others

Booked my Nissan in for 36,000 mile service and mot on 8th November. Pleasant experience and discussed courtesy car. I accepted the offer. I was informed that service was on a first come first served basis. I arrived on the date of booking at 07:30. I entered the showroom on opening at 08:00. After a short period I was served by a young female. No pleasantries, straight to the point. Understandable, it was 08:00 on a Monday morning. We discussed my booking and when it came to the courtesy car I was told :'Its not on my paperwork'I started to say:'When booking the service courtesy car'I was interrupted in an authoritarian manner:' IT'S NOT ON MY PAPERWORK'Normally you would expect a service worker to try and resolve an issue. Not in this case. I asked to speak to her line manager and he quickly resolved the matter and I was given a courtesy car.I left my Nissan and waited for an update. I received a call regarding work required to pass mot. I authorised this and waited for further update. Over the next four days I had to call for updates. On two occasions I spoke to a young female who changed her tone when I gave my name. I was told on one occasion to let me see if there is progress and goodbye in one sentence.My wife called and payed my bill and asked for an email of the work carried out. She was told an email would be sent out and when the Nissan was collected a receipt of work would be given. Neither came to pass.Summing up experience. You know when you are not happy with a meal served to you in a restaurant. You are apprehensive to complain incase someone spits in your food. This is how Dicksons have made me feel.Initial treatment- unacceptable.Follow up phone treatment- childish.Lack of any paperwork for a £2680 bill- utterly reprehensible.

I had a great experience at Dicksons of Inverness because the hand over was easy, they gave me a car and finance within my budget. Upon collection of the car, there was an issue with the wiper pump but I took it in and they fixed it the same day

I'd been thinking of changing my car,over the past few months. Dicksons were coming to Stornoway, on 21st October 2023, perfect opportunity to have a chat/browse, at the vehicles Andy and his colleagues had taken up,with them,to Stornoway. I decided to trade in, my astra, for a beautiful Nissan Qashqai! Thanks,especially, to Andy, for all his assistance/guidance, thus far. Wednesday 1st November, my little astra went away to Inverness, Thursday 2nd November, my new wheels, arrived off the lunchtime ferry in Stornoway! Its been a roller coaster few weeks, but what a blessing, for you all,coming to Stornoway! Hope you all do it again,sometime! I Cannot praise and thank you all,enough. So much appreciated! Keep up the good work ?

Warning, if you need to book a service to meet the requirements of your warranty, you need to book it months in advance. I tried more than 4 weeks before I needed it at a relatively quiet time of year (service in early December) and they were booked up for 7 weeks. Had to drive a long way to another dealer.
