Positive - dog friendly and open on New Year's day
But the system of service and preparation of drinks is very slow.
And our toasties were heated, we suspect, in the microwave rather than actually toasted.
Most of the rest of the year there are much better cafes, which use local suppliers.
I mean, they didn't even offer salt and pepper anymore here!

I always order soya latte but somehow it?s made differently each time. It?s made well when i order for sit in not takeaway. Overall nice cafe environment.

incredibly disappointed by what I witnessed, the supervisor a young lady asked a youngish couple with two young children to leave because they entered the shop with two bikes the bikes were being carried by the children's father and the two children were with the mother and very well behaved the children were.
The coffee was fine but witnessing such ignorance by a member of staff is definitely is a sign that she needs retraining !
Service was also somewhat slow as even when a que developed the trainee barista was left to serve as the other carried on unloading the dishwasher despite there being plenty crockery on the shelf.
I shall not return in a hurry.

I used to go to Cafe Nero because it had the best coffee of the big companies but this time my flat white was tasteless and too hot. I pointed this out after taking two sips and leaving and was just told, "sorry about that".

Absolutely shocking customer service. 2 members of staff too busy chatting with a customer they obviously knew and took there time with that order so they could chat. Especially the staff member with the glasses and pony tail and kept walking past me while i stood for 10 minutes before they even acknowleged me !!

Always been happy with my coffees from here, can get very busy but staff always friendly. Lots of vegan options. While it's nice they allow dogs it'd be nicer if there was a specific area as there's always dogs lying in the narrow aisles (boiling coffee + tripping hazards...), and it depends on whether people actually train their dogs.

Had a good time with friends. Cheese cake was amazing. Not a coffee drinker so can't rate if it was good or not. Dog friendly so got to enjoy seeing puppers aplenty ??

Always lovely to visit, love that it?s dog friendly. Staff always ready to help and the trainee serving was so kind. Quality of coffee was excellent.

Googled where was cafe nero in Inverness as I go always in Edinburgh, service was terrible (there was none) 4 staff behind the counter chatting, no one acknowledged I was even there, one customer being served though I stood waiting thinking what's happening here!? Was met with an arrogant tone when I asked is this the only cafe Nero in Inverness as very different to edinburgh... Much training needed!!!!

I ordered Italian salami sourdough toasties for 3 - £6.65 each via Just eat. Salami on those toasts wasn't fresh. It was smelly and inedible so I had to put it into the bin to not risk a food poisoning and I asked for the refund. I've been told that Restaurant Partners have their own recipes and cook in an individual style, so the taste, smell and portion size of a dish can vary depending on where I ordered it. Excuse me but what kind of individual style is serving expired meat to someone who spent around £20 on it. Saying that I'm disappointed is like saying nothing. Will not buy a thing in that place as I can't trust this place anymore
