This is a review for both B&Q Inverness and B-Q as a whole.
Pathetic. I placed an online order last night, and despite having visited the store just an hour earlier and seeing exactly what they had in stock, the online system made out as though there was a limited quantity of the item avaible. Fine.
I ordered what I could for click and collect and chose to have what wasn't in stock for click and collect delivered to me.
I got an email just a few minutes ago informing me that my order still couldn't be fulfilled and that I would only be receiving three of the four items I ordered, and a refund for the fourth item.
A minute or two later I got an email from someone at a different B&Q location informing me of the above.
What on earth am I supposed to do with three of the items I ordered? I ordered four for a reason, only sending me three is ridiculous.
The whole ordering process has been a disaster, as is B&Q's website now that they're a 'marketplace' and are allowing drop shippers and Temu resellers to sell on their platform.

A large DIY store with a small Trade section.
They usually carry a good range of stock & convenient opening hours. They have a decent garden section with plants, paving sheds, fencing etc. Great selection of paints, kitchens, bathrooms etc. Can even cut sheets of timber on demand.

A rather unpleasant visit to B&Q inverness store.
We use this store frequently. Recently (including today) the public toilet( only one to include baby changing ) has to be the worst to date. Having complained to the store manager who basically was very flipant with her attitude. Not only was the toilet flooded. The smell was awful. To the point of a health hazard! Im not saying that the toilet isnt cleaned. But there is obviously a plumbing issue. If the store can't sort out the issue then close it! There are other toilet facilities but the store won't open them. I have tried to go through the B&Q complaints but the system does not allow it. Perhaps a member of the B&Q management could contact me? Failing that I will pursue going through the health and safety route ie council procedure

Purchased a new kitchen today, Steven was fantastic! He literally could not have been more helpful. Genuinely went above and beyond, 10/10 service and bent over backwards to accomodate and help. I can't comment on the kitchen until next month ?, but if it's half as good as the service Steven provided, I'll be back in July for a bathroom ??

We purchased a kitchen here a while ago and were sold an upgrade to a fancier oak worktop than the one we specified. When the worktops arrived and the joiner tried to install them, they broke apart. It took a fair bit of arguing to have the refund issued which to be fair they did in full. Then we were stuck with a kitchen with no worktops and ended up having to purchase them from Howdens at a significant premium.
Be very careful with the kitchen design service here
On the positive side they do have a full range of stock available for home renovations.

Bought a kitchen in here recently, visited quite a few times to get doors, worktop etc and each time the staff members in the kitchen department were outstandingly helpful and friendly and made the whole experience very easy. Brilliant service, quality of product and pricing.
