Peter is a lovely chap and made us very welcome. The guest house is very well situated and beautifully appointed. I had a philosophical discussion with Peter about not including haggis in his ?full Scottish? breakfast but we left as friends. Would go again and bring my own haggis.

We stayed here for two night and I must say Peter is the most personable owner I have ever met. He really gave us a feel for the local atmosphere.. We didn't want to leave. The rooms were very comfortable and he even made us a special breakfast. Daisy the cat deserves a shout out too.......

We had to roam around town as we were delayed on the train and then to the B&B to meet with the owner to check in at a specific time. Had we known there was seating out back, we would?ve sat there for three hours instead of roaming around a hot city, tired from travel, with all our luggage! The courtyard is cute with lots of potted nasturtiums.Our room had a large ensuite bathroom and two chairs to have tea which was provided on the table along with a tea kettle. There is a closet for clothes, and two end tables with lamps. The bed slanted a little on one side, and I kept rolling to the edge a bit. But the room was clean, quiet at night and early morning and it?s all we needed just to sleep. The breakfast had several types of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruits, and juices. The owner, Andy, took our order for eggs, hot oatmeal, sausage, ham or bacon, which was quite nice. He automatically brought out toasted bread. It was certainly plentiful. But when it states 8:00 for breakfast--we didn?t feel very welcome for being early risers at 7:45.

We had a great overnight stay at Heathcote Bed and Breakfast, comfortable room and bed, nice bathroom. Lovely welcome from Peter and some great information about what and where in Inverness. Just 10 minutes walk from city centre.

Everything here was wonderful - room, bed, breakfast, off street parking, price, host. No need to search further for accommodation. If Peter has a room, this is the place to stay! Thank you, Peter, for everything you did to make our stay a success.

A lovely bed and breakfast. Host is wonderful, very helpful. Rooms very clean and plenty of room. Great location , walking distance to town and shops. Absolutely a perfect place to stay. I would recommend to stay and would love to visit again.

My pal and I were in Inverness for the night to attend the Inverness Etape cycle event. Peter was brilliant, allowing us to check in early and securely store our bikes so we could head off for a hike the day before. He made sure to point out directions for getting around and that we had somewhere booked for dinner. Due to the early start of the cycle Peter not only made sure to sort us a continental breakfast but he was up at 5am to serve us tea and toast too, as well as making overnight porridge for us - very tasty and got us off to a good start for the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending - great location, lovely rooms and wonderful host. Thanks again Peter.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and received a warm welcome from Peter. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had a wonderful sleep. There was a good choice at breakfast and the cooked breakfast I had was well cooked and very tasty. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here at the start of our NC500 trip and it set the bar high for the rest of our holiday! The B&B was easy to find with lots of free parking. Peter greeted us with a warm welcome and offered lots of good advice about the local area. Our room was spacious and very clean with all the amenities you would need. But the real highlight was the breakfast, the dining room was comfortable and tidy. There was a wide selection of continental breakfast including pastries and fresh fruit and juice. This was followed by an excellent cooked breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked to stay here again at the end of our trip! Would 100% recommend!

Very clean, all the facilities travellers need, great breakfast, plenty of choices - very hospitable, helpful host. Good location, just a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of the town, ample off-street parking. No hesitation in recommending this B&B.
