Terrible collection service. The collection point is located at the back of the store, and it is hard to find staff. I always have to wait more than 20 minutes.

Like any ASDA, a good shopping experience.

I had an extremely difficult time ? dealing directly with the Duty Manager of Asda ? on the 15/01/25 at 17:27 pm who indirectly discriminated me.
I have numerous disabilities and the Manager didn?t care, especially after their store took a double payment from my account ( disability benefits)
I tried to tell him what happened & he took a dismissive attitude towards me, and was hostile, rude, plus tried to publicly shame and humiliated me.
On leaving, I stood outside and saw him walk over to the security guard and started laughing about me and what happened.
Evidently, he had no idea I was standing there and I saw everything.
He fully denied that their machines had taken two payments from my account - failed to provide any proof that it hadn?t, insisting that it was a ? ghost payment ? and it would be refunded automatically.
Overall it was a frustrating experience, I was shamed for asking for a refund and the Manager thought it would be funny to tell me ? I?m not his mate ? and addressed me on a personal level.
Not what you would expect from Asda
My feedback, he should be more concerned about responsibility and respect for his Customers and not demonstrate a hateful attitude towards a person who has a disability and treat them like they are not deserving of consideration and dignity.
It took over two weeks to obtain a refund for their mistake, they finally refunded me today and their response was once again unacceptable. No sincere apologies or understanding of the stress this caused me.
Perhaps they should have some Customer care training and learn how to deal with people who have a disability and offer them a seat when they are in pain. Instead of making them stand for ages and then talk down to them ie the Duty Manager
Be aware if you?re using their services ? check your receipt ( if you can get one ) and don?t expect consideration or good customer satisfaction from the Duty Manager on the 15/01/2025 he is extremely entitled and on a power trip about his position in the Company.
He extends that to his Customers which is not his Job Description.

Problems at self check out the two ladies seemed to be more interested in each others gossip then helping a customer. Asked for help and got looked at like I was rubbish. Will go to tescos now.

Broad ranges of groceries with maybe widest range in the area, also clothes and decor, and limited range or electric/electronics.

Wrong display prices every time I've used this Asda. Offers not working because the offer expired and no one changed the shelf label, wrong prices for individual items. And never know until checking the receipt, probably cost an extra £20 over last 4-5 visits.

Was empty

Great store and open 24 hrs a day. They had a good range of product. There is a shortage of staff so the shelves empty, but if you can get a staff member/agency worker they will help get things out for you. Everyone was very friendly!

Was in this store for the first time in a while and was shocked at the state of it. Clothing department looked like noone had tidied it up in days with clothes on the floor where they'd fallen off the hangers. The store generally looked really badly kept with bits of packaging waste all over the place. Very unimpressed.

Fruit veg meat very good quality plenty of everything

Fruit, veg isles always short on stock and scruffy with left out boxes. Tonight the meat section was not the best (last min BBQ shop).
Saddled with 4 billion debt, selling off the petrol pumps.
Going downhill quickly.

After ordering a delivery of over £200 for Friday 6th September, driver James out of Inverness depot couldn't find my house or that was excuse no.1, excuse no.2 was it was attempted delivery at 3:22pm and nobody was home (correct as my partner was collecting my kids from school and my slot was 4-6pm to which she was here for) we were then told 9am Saturday redelivery and after that slot and no arrival I called again to be told no driver in Fort William today so it'll be Sunday now.
Sunday 11am it arrived 2 days late and it showed with dates on fresh food as 50% ofbit has to be binned as all out of date on 7/9/24 and I received on 8/9/24. Surely it shouldbe been replaced with frsh and not kept in baskets for 2 days. Not only that a 3ltr bottle of veg oil broken all over my shopping by storage and ruined more stuff along with my carpet upon delivery.
Needless to say I won't rely non this shambles again, absolutely embarrassing and all because some driver James was incapable of doing his job and most likely in a rush to get home for the weekend, he should not be on deliveries.
