2 days before my service (which was booked 4 months earlier) they contact me to tell me that they can not carry out an Arnold Clark Service on an Arnold Clark Service Plan because my Mercedes was purchased from another Arnold Clark store.At least they told me before I got there, oh, 125 days AFTER I booked.I booked online because the service department is a nightmare to try and contact. I'd previously had problems finding out about work being completed because I need my car for work. I always had a sneaky feeling they never finished everything that was asked for in order just to get the car back to me...

I had a Fantastic service thanks to Michael. I purchased a car from the Perth branch and had a MAF sensor fault when driving down to Glasgow and went into limp mode. Called Inverness branch as recovery vehicle was collecting me. Told me to bring the car in. Michael had a courtesy car ready for me. Had the car fixed in the same week under warranty.

Awful, dangerous. Avoid. We had our brakes and windscreen wipers fixed, and the next time it rained (on the A9) the driver?s blade flew off at 70mph into the opposite carriageway. Limped into Perth (who were great, repaired immediately). Next day the passenger blade came off. Lousy weather so 2hour wait for RAC who patched it up enough to get to Inverness. Hour?s drive to get there a week ago when we were promised a new wiper. No word from them (as promised by Service Manager). Staff could only tell us they don?t have wiper when we called today. Service? No, taking the piss at our time and expense.

A premium brand dismally represented in Inverness, massively short on staff causing terrible telephone and booking experience, constantly waiting 5 - 10min + to speak to someone, whether its phone call, delivery, collection or even to speak to someone to purchase a new vehicle. Not wishing to sound pretentious but I didnt get to drive a premium vehicle by sitting about waiting for people.

Without doubt the worst service I have ever had from a garage. They make you wait forever to be seen. I have had appointments not honoured and been shouted at when I pointed this out!Had work partly completed and had to make several rescheduled appointments to complete all the work. Been told stock is in when it wasn't.Even their phone system is shocking, hardly ever getting through to anyone.People promising to call back. The ONLY reason I use them is because they're the only Mercedes garage in Inverness. Having said that, I'm know looking elsewhere and considering driving 250 miles to Glasgow or Edinburgh in the hope of a better experience.

I feel I must write a review for a most extraordinary customer service experience at Mercedes Inverness. On 14th July 2023 I phoned up to request a diagnostic check as the ABS light was on. I was informed it would be a 1 hour slot, cost £168 and the first suitable date available 7th August. Dropping the car off at 10am I then returned at 4.20pm took a seat and had coffee in the salubrious waiting area. Around 4.45pm I did receive my first update and in person, service agent Olivia said the ABS module had failed but the technician had stated it should be done under warranty. I said I was surprised as the car was over 10 years old but it does have low mileage (43,800). I was assured that S-class models do often get warranty parts even when older. Note the car had been bought by the original owner with a retail price £106,000 from Mercedes Inverness and 43,800 miles is hardly a lot of use. Over the years I have bought many £1000s of parts from Merc Inv for both my MB vehicles. The parts dept is very good and professional I must state. I might add that I observed numerous reception staff, service agents/managers and sales staff walk around the showrooms doing important work no doubt whilst the sole technician tries to fix 4 or 5 cars for the 5.30pm deadline. Such efficiency and equality, it should be studied in a time and motion thesis.That evening I went to the video link hoping for ABS details only to find out they recommended replacing two tyres and the front shock absorbers which they priced at £311 for one tyre and £2060 for one shock absorber. By scrolling through and saying ?no? to the £2539 which in reality would probably be more than £4600 when priced in total, the whole health check then locked out. ABS not mentioned, but I noticed my email address had been wrong all the time. For 3 weeks no one confirmed my email address. That?s pretty poor communication skills I would say.The next morning I received an email advising that Olivia had spoken to a ?warranty administrator? (news to me) and now they could not cover ABS module and would I like to pay £1774.80 to get it replaced. I?ve met some unprofessional people in my time but this certainly ranks as the number one. How can covered by warranty being twice confirmed to a customer become, oh we made a mistake and now want almost £1800? its staggeringly unprofessional and incompetent. You see where £168 an hour goes to, even £40 would be welcome by technician in workshop, so £128 pays for shiny floors, ambience, multiples of service agents and managers & now further still warranty administrators. It also pays for delays and incompetence aswell.Olivia stopped returning my calls so I have now given up, MB inverness are not interested in me or my car. So in short I have no ABS diagnosis report, no fault codes, no description of the part failures, no confirmation of the other ABS components that pass a test and no invoice for this diagnosis. What I do have is an offer to undertake nearly £6600 of work on the car which could be done for around £500 myself or £1000 at another garage, and an understanding of how incompetent, inefficient and staggeringly overpriced this garage is for the service it provides. I did get the sunroof movement sorted, joy of joys and it glides majestically open and closes just aswell. My wife was tempted in getting an almost new 4wd Mercedes, trading in our current family car, from examples on the forecourt, but later we agreed not in a 1000 years.. if we ever needed a warranty claim or annual service we know exactly how that will be dealt with. Hanging around waiting in showrooms with other customers, unfinished jobs, can you come back tomorrows, every bill being £1000+, promises of warranty claims evaporating. Its definitely the last time I enter the MB Inv showroom ever again. I will continue to visit the parts dept when needed but will never again cross the threshold into the other mysterious and glamourous world. I would urge anyone to consider their wellbeing before going in themselves to the showroom, as it was certainly an experience.

Purchased a car almost 3 weeks ago, such an easy and quick process , I had Craig sell me the car and he was fantastic, great guy , no hassle at all.I test drove the car before buying and I think it was Caitlin I had , told me everything about the car, no hassle at all, great laugh.Much appreciated to those two.

Still a great place to get your next vehicle, however it seems like they have got rid of their amazing members of staff and only a few of them left.The new ones seem to have a bit of a weird attitude to their job.I?d still recommend this place for sure.

Service team won?t take calls, can?t get a service plan. Avoid like the plague Now we have to produce a V5 for a service??We have just purchased the car from, yes you?ve guessed I?d it Mercedes Inverness what a shambles.

My car was to come with free service but they couldn?t find the record when I needed it. Trying to call them and their staff was too busy to talk even fir few minutes. The receptionist was so rude that she hung up on me while i was still talking. Not a good experience with them.
