I attended a business day-event and would highly recommend. Room temperature was comfortable, no IT issues, events staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It?s the little extra touches that really make this place stand out. Timings were perfect and the lunch was delicious!

Booked the especially for yu Spa experience. Fabulous. Full works, relaxed time afterwards in the pool and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and then a very scummy salad and side with a cheeky gin and tonic. Only had to pay for the gin as everything else was in the deal! Brilliant.
Nearby activities: Water obstacle adventure ground, eateries, the V&A, the waterfront, the HMS Unicorn the RRS Discovery, the DCA, the Overgate all within minutes of walking.
Walkability: All on the flat and very accessible.
Food and drinks: Plenty to choose from. Wagamama, Toni macaroni, Wee Mexico, Pizza Hut, Nandos etc.

My stay at Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa, Dundee was great.
From check-in to departure, my experience was seamless and memorable.
Hassle-Free Check-in and Parking
Check-in was smooth and friendly, and although parking came with a fee.
The hotel's design, cleanliness, and attention to detail impressed me. The lobby, corridors, and rooms exuded a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The staff were courteous, helpful, and eager to ensure my comfort.
The breakfast offered an impressive array of options, it was all lovely.

Overall a nice place. The rooms are nice and open and the bathroom had a shower and tub. Really felt welcomed to our room.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the local spa is fantastic.
Food and drinks: The restaurant is just ok. You're better off going to one of the many places within walking distance.

I was in the lift with a sweet guy and his pregnant wife in Dundee. He asked how my holiday was going. After sharing how much we liked the hotel and Dundee I asked how their holiday was and was surprised when the said they were heading to Hospital to have a baby. Right then and there. It ended up being David Hodges, GM for 2 Apex Hotels. How thoughtful you are asking about me when you have such an exciting moment going on in your life. David, I wanted to let you know a couple good things about Dundee Apex, other than the awesome staff. We really liked the Antipodes hair products and lotion. Love the smell and a good product. Apex in Dundee has 2 thumbs up from our 6 person, older family. We stayed for 2 weeks and the staff was so helpful finding pubs and restaurants, along with great local favorites for places to visit. All with a smile. The front reception staff we worked with the most and are so thankful are Sophie, Lexy, Ewan, David and Fiona.
The waitstaff that went above and beyond are Nicky, Emma and Natalie. (No 'airy coos, but we tried). You all made our Scottish holiday one for the books. We will be sharing our memories for years to come!! Best staff ever! Meeka Pedersen. Idaho (famous tatties), USA

Very comfortable well furnished, room in a good location for the station and the bus station. The bathroom was excellent.
We had a meal which was very nice and served hot.
We did however feel the room price was quite expensive.

We had a fabulous visit and everything couldn't have been better. The people and service were superb, so friendly and helpful throughout. The evening meals and the breakfasts were so.e of the best we've had in a hotel. We couldn't fault it and the location is ideal. Really nice well designed and equipped rooms, perfectly cleaned by the stealthy crew. Really nice and we're already looking to see other places with Apex hotels to see where to visit next. Dundee was quite a surprise once you get time to delve into the area, we were pleasantly surprised. Ignoring a couple of old run down buildings that look due for refurbishment, the rest of the place is a great mix or new and old, with plenty of galleries, shopping and entertainment for all ages.

I love this hotel to be honest. For the price, you won?t find better in Scotland. The staff are very good, the rooms are ridiculously nice and clean, the beds are superb and the spa is above average and always clean.
I?ve been really picky and taken star off because the front desk was a bit careless in double-charging for items paid for in advance, and because the avocados at breakfast were a wee bit yucky (everything else food-wise was good).
Overall really good - and I?ll be back.
Rooms: Very good rooms for this price point
Walkability: Easy walks into town or along the riverside
Noteworthy details: Nice spa with pool, hot tubs, sauna & gym.

We stayed here a couple of months ago in the Beano room for a family break with 2 small children and the experience was phenomenal! Every single staff member was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our children loved their stay and we were made to feel like VIPs throughout the time we were here. Everything was immaculate from the staff, the facilities to the cleanliness. I've stayed at some grand 5 star hotels but in all honesty this tops it on the staff alone. I really am blown away by the staff, from the housekeeping to the manager and everyone in-between. The service they provided was second to none and our children want to make this our regular spot. The views were fantastic of the sunset and sunrise. Pool and spa facilities had adequate time for families to swim. The restaurant's food was delicious and fresh. Super comfortable beds.
Rooms: Our room was spacious and clean. Beds are really comfortable, clean throughout the room.
Food and drinks: The food was so tasty and fresh here with great choice for adults and kids. They were really great at understanding our allergies and making sure everything was suitable and safe.
Noteworthy details: Staff went above and beyond in every single department!
