We stumbled across this wee gem after being stuck in a traffic jam. We were stoked to get the last walk in table. Laura & Kim gave the BEST service we?ve had in years. Couldn?t fault the food. Oysters were fresh & delicious as were the mussels. The Passion fruit tart was recommended & didn?t disappoint. Lovely to see a young couple smashing it in Hospo. We wish them every success. If we didn?t hail from NZ we?d tell all our friends to dine here. Thanks lovelies ???

Lovely spot. Food is very very fresh. Service was attentive and quick. They do not have a lot of space inside so call ahead or be there when they open.

Saturday lunch and we trated ourselves to a platter.
115 sounds steep but it was perfectly cooking with good amounts of each item. A treat but oh what a treat. Staff were happy helpful and attentive

Stopped in just to try the oysters. It has been a year and I'm still talking about them. They were the freshest tasting. I wish there was a way to get them shipped to me in the U.S.

During our overnight stop in Inveraray, we enjoyed a great dinner at Samphire. I made reservations but we ended up arriving earlier and got seated right away. We came for the seafood and were not disappointed. There were just so many good choices to pick from. The smoke salmon fettuccine was creamy and good. The fish special was actually sea bream which was the first time eating it cooked instead of as sashimi. It came out whole and I butchered the deboning. The seasoning was excellent and the fish was delicate and sweet. We ended dinner by eating our very first sticky toffee pudding and enjoyed it very much. Moist pudding made of dates which we complemented by the toffee sauce and scoop of vanilla ice cream. A great finish. Service was very attentive and friendly throughout.

Lovely restaurant, with friendly, helpful staff. But the best thing was the mussels. Maybe the best I've ever tasted! Absolutely delicious!
