A lovely location for our camper in the camping field. A popular location for mountain bikers. Lots of camper vans stopping. Friendly welcome received, paid £20 for non electric. Shower block and toilets available, tidy toilet area but shower area needs a revamp, shower curtain kept sticking to me, and extra £1 coin required to shower and meter outside the shower so if 2 needed then had to get out of shower. No hooks to hang clothes and everywhere else covered in dust or cobwebs. Key provided for use of block. Free dvds available at reception. Looked like there was a laundry facility. A small store in walking distance. Field located right next to a cycle path and walk way. Also gorgeous river walk. We'd stay again.

If you enjoy cramped, rowdy places you'll love this place. Yes, it was a Saturday night, but the noise was constant until well after midnight. Showers were full of mud and flooded. Will not return and do not recommend unless you want to have no rules and enjoy making a nuisance for other people

Nice little site. Nice walks. Short bus ride to Peebles.Tonight, Sunday 25th June, someone has decided to leave a poor dog in the caravan. Its now 22:30 and the poor thing is still howling. As I have my two dogs with me, the howling is occasionally setting them off barking. So don't think this will be a peaceful night, as also noted by other campers.

Nice quite place to get away. The area is great if you like walking or bike riding.

Great wee site in a beautiful setting but our stay was ruined by barking dogs. Virtually every pitch had at least one dog and there was barking around the clock. We had young children with us who were disturbed during the night. Such a pity and all down to dog owners who just didn?t seem to care about other peoples peace. It?s unlikely we will return

Thank you for helping Martin Hutchinson (Starsky and Hutch) overnight. As an envirmental campaigner who has walked 34,000km across 21 countries and cycled 35,000km across 16 and given talks to 757 schools around the world about the need to raise awareness of our environment, he has risked his life on more than one ocassion and your offer of a night's sanctuary was very much appreciated.

Awesome location. Nice we bar on site!Only issue we had was the toilets need updating and having to pay extra for tokens to have a shower!

So expensive for a tent they ask for £20 for a night and £1 for shower. No place to charge phones or electronic between 8pm and 9am

Nice site for staying off whilst passing through. Lovely walks along the river. Good amenities and not too crowded when we called. End of September. Mix of routers statics and pods.

Good Pitch size for our touring caravan with toilets and showers very close at hand. Not the best shower facilities as there are no hooks for clothes and they did flood out. Toilets were very clean. Wasn't a great site to get the in/out out from the pitch space as the small driving space was used by others as a seating area, unaware it was the drive in/out area. Great Chinese in Innerleithen who deliver to the site.

Great quiet site. Good facilities with. Token operated shower (tokens cost £1) for about 5 minutes (although I didn't time it). I was camping on site but they have glamping pods as well as caravans and hard standing for campers/caravans. Stunning location with rolling Scottish hills next to the park.

Cycle toured through as I knew the bakery in town sold Lasagne pies. (stayed here before in 2014 and have fond memories of watching a really obese motorcycle tourer get on his motorbike and ride to the shower/toilet block rather than walk) pricey especially with the extra quid to have a shower. But if you're in the camping area you can't really see the masses of camper vans and mobile homes. Scenery is great and just by the river if you're into skinny dipping.

After an overbooking at an air b&b I was looking for a bed at very short notice on an easter weekend. I was able to get a small glamping pod and they even supplied a sleeping bag and pillow as I wasn't expecting to camp. Turned out to be a great few days at a great price and now I can't wait to go back
