First takeaway from Saffron tonight. We were passing through Innerleithen on our way home.
Two Excellent meals from the meal deal. Rogan Josh and Buna. Service was quick and owner very friendly.

Fantastic food, good service, pleasant staff. The menu was quite large, which can sometimes be a bad thing, but the Karahi was great. Perfect for a meal out in Innerleithen.

Been going to Saffron since the day it opened. The curries, specials, and chefs mojadar are always amazing.
But please, do not get the nanpizza, they're pretty horrible.

After a long hike, I arrived in Innerleithen late in the evening and was looking for a restaurant. Saffron was open and welcoming, offering excellent service and a delicious curry. It was there that I tried Shahi curry for the first time, and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a mild and slightly sweet dish. The only disappointment was the naan, so I'd suggest choosing rice as a side, instead.

One of the best Indian Restaurants I have been to.
Great service, an intimate atmosphere and Tandoori and breads to die for, made by their very own specialist Tandoori chef. Set in the heart of Innerleithen.

Extensive menu of both popular and less familiar dishes. Vegetarian starter platter was very tasty. Sharisha Chicken Tikka was a generous portion of marinated chicken, with a thick sauce flavoured with mustard, chilli, garlic and coriander. Tarka dall had plenty of garlic. Enjoyed mango lassi to drink.

Small but mighty! Book ahead due to it being always full. There's a good reason though. The food is AMAZING!

Absolutely fabulous food and service. ? We decided against going to the 'Indian' restaurant in Peebles due to its horrendous reviews. ? If you are nearby you must try this one instead. (sit in or takeaway). It was one of the best, if not the best, Indian meals we have had. ? We had poppadoms, a mixed sharing platter, two tasty curries, a nan bread and pilau rice. With drinks it cost us only £60. The owner & staff were friendly and subtly attentive sharing local knowledge of attractions and events after our meal. ? A lovely & honest family business worth supporting. ?
